Mar 03,2025BUD-185914645977 In the past three years I rented cars at Klasswagen around ~10 times, never had an issue with them. The prices are super competitive and the cars are in very good condition. The only drawback is that it looks like the amount of deposit is going up from one rent to another, they currently ask for 2100 EUR, which is around double the amount some competitors are asking for.

Feb 27,2025They are a scam company. Run away! I booked a a trip with them. I came from Germany to visit Budapest. I paid the money online (via booking.com) and then they demanded another 275 euro from me for some insurance coverage+ road tax+ tyre wear and tear charges. When I asked them to print the details of this "new costs", they told me they can not give me any details on their company letterhead. They were insisting on signing a contract on the "tablet" and give them the money. I said goodbye to the money I already paid online and ran away from their office in Budapest. They are awful company... I saw some of the people there who were arguing with them about not paying some "administrative fees", when they were returning the vehicle.

Feb 21,2025I prepaid for the car rental and the full comprehensive insurance on the EasyJet website. When I went to pick up the car in Budapest, I thought I just needed to collect the key. Instead, they wanted to force me to pay an additional 270 Euros and 150 Euros for a fuel deposit because the insurance purchased with EasyJet was not valid, and this was written somewhere in small print. If I didn’t pay for this extra insurance, I would have to leave a deposit of 3500 Euros. I was just stunned there with my two children, my wife, and my mother. The whole thing was written down in pen by a very unpleasant office representative with a red beard. When I asked for his handwritten quote, he refused and threw it in the trash. I cannot stress enough how uncomfortable this situation was. In the end, I did not rent the car. We took the train home. I lost the amount I prepaid with EasyJet. I do not recommend any car rentals with EasyJet or with the related Hungarian Classic Wagon! Everyone should stay far away from them! Előre kifizettem az autó bérlését és a teljes körű kaszkós biztosítást is az EasyJet oldalán. Mikor elmentem Pesten a kocsiért, azt hittem, hogy csak a kulcsot kell átvennem. Ehelyett kötelezni akartak arra, hogy még fizessek ki 270 Eurót és 150 Eurót a benzin depóra, mert az EasyJetnél kötött biztosítás nem érvényes, és ez le volt írva valahol kis betűvel. Ha nem fizetem ki ezt az extra biztosítást, akkor le kell tennem 3500 Euro letétet. Nahát, csak néztem ott a két gyermekemmel, a feleségemmel és az édesanyámmal. Ezt az egészet tollal vetette papírra a vörös szakállú, nagyon kellemetlen modorú irodai megbízott fiúcska. Mikor el akartam kérni a kézzel írott ajánlatát, nemet mondott és kidobta a kukába. Nem győzöm hangsúlyozni, hogy nagyon kellemetlen helyzet volt ez. A kocsit nem bérletem ki végül. Vonattal mentünk haza. Az előre kifizetett összeget elbuktam az EasyJet légitársaságnál. Senkinek nem ajánlok semmilyen autó bérlést az EasyJetnél és a velük kapcsolatban lévő magyar Klass Wagennél! Kerülje mindenki messzire őket! Köszönöm a válaszukat. Ajánlom, hogy az imént leírtakat ne takargassák az easyJet oldalán, hanem tegyék érthetővé és láthatóvá. Gondolom, ezzel a probléma, hogy az autó bérleti ára már messze nem olyan kecsegtető, és nyilván ennyiért senki nem bérelné. Mindenkinek valahogy meg kell keresnie a pénzét, ezt megértem, de az a véleményem, hogy ez szándékos félrevezetés! Az utolsó pontjához érve, nem kényszerítve voltam, de el lett magyarázva, hogy semmiképp nem ajánlják a 3500 eurós letétet, mert ha visszaviszem a kocsit, mindenképp találni fognak rajta egy kőfelütődést vagy egy karcolást, amiről akár nem is én tehetek, de ezt a kocsi leadása után ki kell fizetnem. Ami minimum 2000 euróba fog kerülni... Így tehát marad a 270 eurós biztosítás és a 150 eurós benzinletét, mégegyszer megjegyzem, hogy kézzel írott papírra készült szerződéssel! Az Önök feladata, hogy olyan partnerekkel szerződjenek, akik átlátható árajánlatot hirdetnek. Nézzék meg az easyJet panaszoldalát; én csak egy ember vagyok a sok közül, akit átvertek, és panasszal élek. Remélem, a fogyasztóvédelem mihamarabb jobb tanácsokat ad majd Önöknek az ésszerű cégvezetésről. Thank you for your response. I recommend that you do not conceal the points I just mentioned on the easyJet website but instead make them clear and visible. I assume this is related to the issue that the car rental price is no longer as enticing, and obviously, no one would rent it at that price. I understand that everyone has to make their money somehow, but in my opinion, this is intentional misinformation! Regarding your last point, I was not forced, but it was explained that they do not recommend the €3,500 deposit at all, because when I return the car, they will surely find a stone chip or a scratch on it, which I may not even be responsible for, but I will have to pay for it after returning the car. This would cost at least €2,000... So I am left with the €270 insurance and the €150 fuel deposit, and I would like to reiterate that this was done with a handwritten contract on paper! It is your responsibility to contract with partners who provide transparent price offers. Please take a look at the easyJet complaints page; I am just one person among many who has been misled and am filing a complaint. I hope that consumer protection will soon provide you with better advice on reasonable business practices.
