Weeks after placing my order, I was finally contacted to say 1 of my items were out of stock. I asked for them to just cancel my order since it had been weeks but they refused. I finally had to pick a replacement item. Weeks later I finally received my order and they didn’t fit. I reached out because their website says “14 day fit guarantee or your money back”. They refused to refund me or accept a return. Only offered a store credit. After this experience, I would not order from them again when I pointed out their policy, they refused to respond. After many attempts to reach out to them, they simply ghosted me and will not respond.
I am not sure I will ever buy anything from this company again. First, they do not have an inventory system, so if something you like is out of stock, you're out of luck. They offered a few options and I opted for the "surprise me with an item of equal value" option and the items I received as substitutes were $4 less than what I paid for. Then, their customer service is terrible. You will never get the same person, even with the same chain of emails as you begin with. Further, they claim they are Knotty USA, but the items ship from Canada and take quite a while to get to you.
Appalling service and company. Refused to cancel my order even though according to tracking it took a week to be dispatched. 2 weeks later it arrives and I refuse it at the door, sending it back to them, in the hopes of getting a refund, which they apparently don't give even though the package is clearly unopened and now they're not even replying to messages.
It's been a little over two weeks and I'm still waiting for my order.
The buy one get two free is a scam. Cheap nasty products that you pay over the odds for. Customer services don't get back to you. Impossible to get a refund. AVOID
I recently purchased from them because I saw an ad on Facebook for what looked like really nice underwear. They were having a buy one get 2 sale, seemed way too good to be true. I never once thought to check any reviews other than video reviews. I got thinking after I had purchased from them that it was a tad strange I was finding not very many video reviews on their products besides for the subscription service they have. I had purchased the Boxers for women. I looked them up and found this page here where 79% of the reviews are bad. No where in the confirmation, on the website is an option for you to cancel. They have a cancellation policy and contact customer service underneath your confirmation but no option to cancel. I read the reviews here where people had said the company is indecent in customer service, where they will not refund but instead give you store credits to buy more shitty quality underwear. I got nervous when I couldn’t just cancel and immediately contacted the company to resolve the situation, it was silent on their end for a few days but they had messaged me back this morning telling me it is too late to cancel as it is being processed for shipping. I purchase things online all the time, I have never come across an issue with cancellation while still in the processing stage. It’s still in their hands. I feel it should be easy to cancel. I already called to dispute the charge with my bank. I mentioned they seem fraudulent based on the reviews of their company and their products. With no option to cancel. I noticed as soon as I disputed it with my bank the company gets back to me on my cancellation request to deny it. But I don’t want shitty quality underwear that won’t fit me.
I ordered $40 worth of items from them 11_22. It was suppose to have 6-8 day shipping. They confirmed the order 11-25. It is now 12-28 and I haven't received anything. I reached out to them prior to 12-20 regarding this with no response. Then on 12-20 I opened a dispute with paypal which is still pending a response from the seller.
Well I knew better and still gave them business. Over a couple years ago when they first came about I was getting their subscription random service, till they all started falling apart after a few wears. Sadly loved their boxers so kept ordering those. Recently they advertised a sale of buy one get 2 free. I place an order for two pairs and it cost $50 which was a lot but I factored in the fact that I thought I was getting 6 pairs of underwear. They sent two and when questioned said they would send two more if I paid shipping. So they scammed me for shipping and yet still have yet to send them. I truly think this company is awful.
Much like most comments, my emails are being ignored. I was provided a partial credit for underwear that wasn't sized properly but the credit wasn't enough to replace the two pairs that didn't fit. I have not received a response from them since. It's disappointing because I thought that the boxers were a nice material, but after seeing so many reviews I'll be avoiding this company moving forward. As an aside, I also had the same issue that the items took a month to arrive because of items not being in stock.
This is a review of one-off purchases from Knotty Knickers, not their subscription (plenty of poor reviews on that available!). I've ordered from Knotty Knickers a few times over the years, in the hopes that they would improve over time but sadly they have not. Their underwear is sized really small and has very little stretch - I have to order 3 sizes above usual for these to fit! The quality of product is poor, a lot of loose threads and wonky stitching. For the price it is definitely not worth the money. On their website, Knotty Knickers claims to have a 14 day money back guarantee so that you can make sure you get the right fit - however, they will only offer store credit, and this will not apply to any offers or sale items, so calling it a 'money back guarantee' is just a lie. Further, when I contacted asking for a return/refund within the 14-day period, they ignored my email. On following up a week later, they replied agressively, claiming I 'missed' their email, forwarding a screenshot that showed they'd input my email address incorrectly. Further correspondence ended with them just resending generic, auto-generated responses and ignoring my questions/queries. Extremely poor customer service and unprofessional. Overall, would not recommend Knotty Knickers, even for one-off purchases. Low quality, poor customer service, and just a total rip-off.
DO NOT SHOP HERE - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. POORLY MADE ITEMS. REFUSED REFUND AND COMPANY DEMANDED ITEMS TO BE RETURNED, AND THEN REFUSED TO PAY TAXES. HAVE HAD A PAYPAL DISPUTE OPEN FOR WEEKS NOW. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!! SCAMMERS!
Awful - ordered several pairs in a size medium and only a couple fit. Some are too big and others too small. Offered credit note so ordered boxers in small (because originals were too big) and same design but different colours are all over the place. What's more is they recommend hand wash. Even the ones that fit look awful because of the cut. Don't waste your money. Cheap and nasty
I placed an order over a month ago,which still hasn't arrived. I have written numerous emails, they are consistently saying they're investigating where my package is. They sent tracking info which shows the parcel never reached the UK. They ask me to wait again and again. I don't believe that they've sent it atall after especially after I've read everyone's reviews here. Strongly suggest that people don't buy from this company. Update : after I told them I'd written an unfavourable review and attempted to recover payment. My parcel arrived as a royal mail 48hr tracked parcel sent from the UK.. With a UK return address!!! How did it take exactly 30 days for a tracked 48hr parcel to arrive? When tracking showed for a month that the royal mail had not received it? So I have my order but will never place another with this company.
Alas this company doesn’t do itself any favours. They are promoted as a UK based company, but they are based in Canada. I have no issue with that other than you have no idea at point of purchase your order will take a few weeks to arrive, and seeing all the other posts you think it’s a scam or con when they don’t arrive in a timely manner. So they need to be honest with people before purchase. Also people need to know if they thought they were supporting a small British business. However after my initial annoyance at the above my parcel finally arrived. And what I have received is pretty good quality, everything seems to be stitched well and material is soft. I ordered L and was worried about sizing but they are perfect. So I am happy to recommend based on the quality of product I received. If they could just up their game on the other issues and be honest with customers I think they would do much better.
Checked their size guide and ordered all in the same size. They all fit different and despite all being airamodal they were all different fabrics. Their "money back guarantee" is just a discount on reordering. Shipping took 10 days but had a royal mail 48hr delivery sticker on it. Their customer service rep, stephen, has been ignoring my emails for over a week.
Bout 5 items for £40 all in an M which is my size according to their measurements and charts. NONE fit and each one was a completely different size to the other despite being the same size. Shipping took like 2 weeks but the label said 48hr royal mail and judging by the quality and sizing I'm assuming it was bulk bought from temu or similar. Super disappointed, I reached out via email and over Facebook, I was given a code to rebuy in the next size up or use in store on anything, the code didn't work on anything, nothing was valid. Emailed and Facebook messaged 9 times since and no reply whatsoever. Total scam. AVOID
Ill fitting, poor quality and over priced. Will not accept returns or exchanges (despite distance selling regulations). Will give you a partial credit note and then ignore your emails requesting to return useless goods for a full refund. Going through my bank to get the money bank. Disgusting considering how they try to market themselves as an ethical org when their goods are made and dispatched China.
wish i could rate them 0. waited the 2 weeks that they state will be the maximum delivery time and still no order. emailed them and got told to wait another week before they open an investigation, so i waited that week and that investigation date was just pushed further back. the name changes every email so im sure its just an AI bot i’m talking to. i wish id read the reviews first because it sounds like IF i do receive them they wont fit anyway. I went through my bank to get my money back and have received it, however the company has 3 months to dispute this and take my money again.
Knickers arrived after a long wait. Tried 2 out of 10 or so on. One just fit, others wildly too small. I emailed within their 14 day money back guarantee return window (which includes the day you ordered and the long wait for delivery) to ask for a refund. They said no but I could have a voucher for the value of the goods. This would be OK if 1. The knickers were consistent sizes. 2. If they didn't state you can get a refund 3. The voucher included the £6 delivery fee. As is stated in their site I am eligible for a refund and have 14 days to try on but their customer service disagrees and says you can't get a refund due to hygiene reasons (which is why I only tried 2). They have ghosted me since. If I use the voucher I will have 2 lots of knickers that may or may not fit, on top of having paid £12 in postage which I am not willing to do for sub par items when their returns policy is in my favour.
