Aug 09,2022Absolute excellant service. I use Lakeside Needlecraft now for all my cross stitch needs due to the reasonable costs and speed from ordering to delivery. If anything is out of stock you can opt for an email notification once it is available. Saves me a lot of time travelling to find that one colour thread you are missing and need it quickly. And you get loyalty points - what a bonus! Only down side is that I 'have to" spend £25 for free delivery when you may only want a couple of threads but hey, who cannot find something to buy when it comes to Needlework!!

The postie was then asking for a second, repeat charge, so I explained gently that I had already paid it online. Please note that other clients may experience this. Jun 11,2022LN sell good quality and unique products and have competitive prices, but I feel the delivery & processing time really brings them down. I've been waiting almost a week and I don't think my order has even been dispatched yet! The lack of communication made me feel like my order had been forgotten. So if you need something within a short space of time, I wouldn't order from LN. Also my order was processed the same day, about 7 hours after I made the order too, so I assumed it would be dispatched in the 2-3 working days stated, seeing as someone processed my order on the weekend. Edit: Ordered again recently and item still hasn't been dispatched. I did order on the May bank holiday Monday, so I of course don't expect anything to be processed on a bank holiday, but it's now Saturday 11th May and it's still not been dispatched. :( Considering this appears to be an ongoing issue for at least 2 years, I'm surprised more hasn't been done to ensure quicker dispatch times. Edit: it appears LN shows items on their website as in stock when they're actually out of stock, so if their delivery is delayed, your order will be too.

You get an email confirming your order, then that it is being processed, finally an email notifying you that your order has been dispatched so you know when to expect it at your door. It makes me feel involved all the way from making my order to finally opening my package. Thank you ☺️

Apr 30,2022I ordered some threads from this company on Sunday 24th April and have just received a mail telling me that they will arrive on Tuesday 2nd May. Over a week to get here must be a record as they always takes ages but not this long. I suppose it's Covid as these days that is the go to excuse.
