Nice operator, who when I explained I wasn't told my subscription had gone up,I found that out when I checked my bank account I think the company should tell customers when their subscription is rising by Email or letter,he then informed me I could pay Monthly with no interest I was not told that when I purchased my Smartlife Alarm system 3 years ago paying one amount per year.it has just been payed for this year unfortunately.

After a grovelling apology (not allowed to mention names) telling me i didn't have to return the unit (what good would it be to me???) & saying letters asking for money are sent out automatically, i was asked if i could edit my review. My mother passed away on the 24th of April this year. Life Connect were informed shortly afterwards. Today i received an email from Life Connect 24 addressed to my mother. At the end of the email is & i quote...Thank you, and speak to you soon (LIFECONNECT24 EMPLOYEE) not naming anyone...to someone who passed away on the 24th April 2024!!! Just an addition to this review. LIFECONNECT24 flagged this review as being illegal or harmful. Please can someone from LIFECONNECT24 explain to me how the content of the review be deemed as illegal or harmful. The only person that has been harmed & hurt is myself. A person who is still grieving the loss of of a loved one. As a gesture of goodwill it would be nice if LIFECONNECT24 could make some sort of donation to a charity of your choice. UPDATE! "As a gesture of goodwill, we have waived any outstanding balances owed to us for the equipment which is provided on a rental basis, allowing you the opportunity to make a donation to a charity or organisation close to your heart, should you choose to do so"....After having a member of your staff telling me i do not have to pay the £100 demand for the non return of equipment (which was returned, minus the pendant which my mother was wearing when she passed away, not the first thing i thought of at the passing of my mother) the same member of staff telling me that i did not need to return the equipment & finally the rental being paid up to March 2025, could you please tell me what amount of the outstanding balance has been waived? UPDATE-6/12/24-After waiting 40 minutes for my call to be answered i finally got through to a wonderful person called xxxxx(have to remove the persons name-LIFECONNECT24 says it goes against guidelinesI told her my issues & that i was supposed to receive a call the day before which never came, & that i am still waiting to find out the amount of the outstanding balance that has been waived. She was most courteous & a credit to your company. She couldn't help with my issue but told me someone would be in touch with me soon to resolve the problem. Here's to waiting!!! The ordering system was extremely reassuring. The lady I spoke to was extremely informative and answered all my questions perfectly. I have ordered on behalf of my almost 88 year old mother in law and shall add to the review once she is wearing the device. Thank you
Customer service from sales to delivery was excellent.Very helpful if having any setup problems.Living on my own and walking daily with my dog on some remote areas, gives me and my family peace of mind that I have the security of Life Connect24 and all it offers.
Positives Carrie the customer advisor was pleasant and knowledgeable and helpful placing my order. Negative The website was ambiguous in not fully explaining 2 of the 3 offerings were analog and not ready for the upcoming digital changeover.
What a lovely experience it was when speaking to Jos when I phoned to enquire about ‘Careline’ for my mother and how it all works. He explained everything I needed to know and was extremely helpful and didn’t rush through things. Everything was made clear and the ordering process was very easy. Jos offered valuable advice based on experience which was much appreciated. So, thank you Jos, hope your cough clears up soon and you are back singing in good time for Christmas!
I experienced careful consideration of my issues, and excellent resolution, after which I renewed my contract with LifeConnect24. I am very satisfied with the service I received, which helped me understand why an upgrade to the new digital equipment was necessary and what the new features were of the system.

Dec 20,2024The people manning this service are very friendly and efficient. I've never had to use my alarm in an emergency, but I have pressed it a few times by accident, and the operator has always been understanding and polite. I live alone and this gives myself and my son peace of mind.
