Mar 25,2022Prior to our Wed, Mar 2, 2022, 9:11 a.m. rental nothing had been mentioned of the need for renter's insurance. We had renter's insurance but didn't have proof with us. Kevin said we could bring in proof the next day and he'd credit us the $14 he charged our credit card. When we brought in proof he next day, Kevin said he'd apply the credit to the next month's rental. We said we didn't plan on renting another month, Kevin said he'd credit us when we stopped renting that month. Sat, Mar 19 when we terminated our rental space Life Storage refused to credit the $14 back to our credit card, they said they had no way to do that and were crediting the $14 to our Life Storage account. WHY WOULD WE WANT A LIFE STORAGE ACCOUNT!!! That's simply a way for Life Storage to steal $14 from us!!! We want Life Storage to credit the $14 back to our Credit Card!! I plan on informing the public and the Better Business Bureau. Plus, the rental fees are way too high!!!
