Clean, organized, and great management!
Best storage place I've used in Houston. The prices are very reasonable, the facilities are airy, clean and lots of internal light. The units have their own light inside! Great value and the staff is superb!
I’ve been a customer since 2019. The facility was owned by a different company then switched to Life Storage. I had no issues with the switching of companies or the manager at that time. Over the period of 3 years the rental payment increased twice, this okay since it is climate controlled and clean. I felt my belongings had been safe. Here’s my issue, I’ve always been on time and never had missed a payment. Last week I received an email from the new manager, Tracey. She charged me for February and a fee. I called Tracey regarding this email and the fee. She said I never made my February payment and my card info bounced back with a bank fee. I explained to her I pay in advance, February was paid in January and on my said of the portal I’m not due until March 19, 2022. I have a screenshot from January showing this and emailed it to her. This is when I would’ve logged back in to make more payments and update my card information. Common sense. She began to call me negligent and talked to me as if I was a child “let me explain this to you oneeee moreee timeee” , “are you done? Ya gonna let me talk now”. It was frustrating. She could’ve handled the situation better, especially being in management. Instead she didn’t listen to my concern or really look into it. Why is my portal saying I’m due in March and Lifestorage is withdrawing funds from my account if it isn’t due. I was fed up and decided I’m going to cancel my unit and go to another company who does not treat their customers this way or talk to them like it. On Sunday I get to my space and my unit has been locked. I was HOT! I’ve paid my dues and my belongings are locked! I waited until the office was opened and a young gentleman had to deal with me. I was frustrated but i held my cool because he had nothing to do with his manager or the situation. He unlocked my unit and closed me out. He was polite and professional. I paid what life storage says “I was due” but I wanted to speak to corporate. I’ve been over charged at this point. The gentleman gave me the number. I called today 2:30 and corporate can’t even answer the phone. Hopefully they can return my voicemail. If you can’t speak to your customers with respect you’ll lose business. If you can’t pick up the phone you’ll lose business. If you over charge your customers you’ll lose business. If you can’t get your online portal correct you’ll lose business. I do not recommend this facility to anyone

The manager at Westminster, Co. facility charged me a $50 disposal fee for being prompt from getting a car seat(baby) off the property. When I arrived the car seat was still there, and she charged me for disposing it, when she didn't dispose of it. I asked her to take the fee off, but she refused to. This is a fake charge and I'm not paying it, therefore I must move out of my unit. I've had problems with this lady, Cybil many times. The late fees , no problem. She is very rude and inconsiderate, she can really hurt your company doing this. Lying about charges that weren't true. People use your services for a reason and getting bunk-charges or fees are not one of them. Lying and harassing customers isn't good for business. Good Luck with this manager, she is loosing business as we speak.

Cathy was terrific. I’ve never rented storage space before, but she took her time to clearly explain everything to me and gave me a tour of the facility.
