Dec 11,2023Wow, what went wrong...where do I even start???? If I could give these guys zero stars I would. Used the service once when my washing machine broke and everything went really well, which was why I came back several months later and what a huge mistake that was!. Not sure what happened in that place during those few months but I was more and more livid as I unpacked my items. Half of my clothes were totally ruined and basically had to go in the bin. Clothes I had washed AND tumble dried before WITHOUT issues came back with more stains then when they were sent out, items of clothing I had for ages (so have seen the inside of a washing machine and dryer a good deal) shrunk so badly that they now fit my 9 year old slender daughter perfectly (I am a 14/16 and like wearing oversized tops, just to give you an indication of the unbelievable levels of shrinkage!!!). To finish things off beautifully some of the clothes I unpacked were still very damp, and as a result, stank - which meant I had to wash them again. If it ever came down to it, I would rather wear dirty smelly clothes than let these guys ever touch my laundry again. Glad I could at least leave a review here, as conveniently the option to review was disabled on other sites. Clearly I am not the first customer to be utterly infuriated by the state of their clothes upon return. Waste of money, time, effort, and unfortunately, waste of perfectly good clothes.

Dec 10,2023We have had a few problems in the past, but this was the last straw. I ordered laundry to be dropped off between 8-11pm….nothing arrived, I went to bed, and the delivery guy starts ringing the doorbell at 12.45pm…waking the whole house up, the dog starts barking… Utterly appalling service, and makes you wonder what morons this company has working for them. We will never use this company again and advise others to follow suit.

Dec 10,2023Little update: to be honest, I’ve just been really impressed by their customer service. I think overall it’s a okay service. Not stellar but next time I have a tonne of washing and I can’t get to it I will reconsider them. Not the best service to be honest, needs some improvement and attention to detail. They tried to deliver the next day due to staffing issues, their driver tracking never worked, and half of the clothes were folded inside out or folded in a really strange way. I had to refold a lot of the clothes and then spend ages putting all the socks together. I also seem to be missing something. I didn’t like the fact I received two different invoices and was charged on three separate occasions for one service. Seems inconsistent and doesn’t leave me with the most confidence. Apart from that it was fine, but there just seems to be a real lack of effort or attention given?

Dec 07,2023I asked for my cashmere jumper not to be put on a hanger cause it stretches easily it's a very delicate material - it was put on a hanger. I also asked for my trousers to be fixed, spent time discussing this with customer service prior to collection, sent pictures - it was not fixed and no explanation provided. Overall not really happy, don’t think will be placing another order, will look for a reliable local dry cleaning service instead.

Dec 06,2023I chose a delicates wash and light dry option and all of my clothes came back completely shrunk to the point I where my jumpers now fit my girlfriend (I am a 6’2 man and she is a small 5’7 woman).

Dec 06,2023They delivered our clothes a whole day earlier, on Halloween night in the UK, London when we were not at home and a bunch of our clothes were lost/taken by kids out on Halloween, we asked for compensation and they basically ignored us, sent email template responses promising responses that we never got. The last straw is when they just closed the ticket, I called asking what is going on and for comp and the lady I spoke to was extremely rude, had someone yelling in the background and said that for £300 worth of lost clothes they would give me back £20 and to get lost! I am now taking them to small biz court as I am scandalised by how rude they have been. No customer service, they exhaust people who complain hoping we will give up I guess, I won’t! don’t use them!

Dec 05,2023I cannot express my deep dissatisfaction regarding the service I've endured with this laundry company. Five weeks ago, I entrusted them with my 15 shirts, and they have yet to return 9. The promised delivery date was repeatedly missed, and their commitments have been consistently ignored. Apologies from their customer service team have been constant, but they have failed to take any meaningful actions to resolve the situation. It's become a never-ending cycle of apologies without any actual solutions. Furthermore, their offer of compensation is a mere fraction of the actual shirt's cost, and they hide behind inadequate terms and conditions. Receiving excuses about labels falling off, or being delivered to the wrong person is inexcusable. I was asked if I could produce receipts for each shirt and when they were purchased. I am sure everyone keeps a full inventory and receipts for every item of clothing in their wardrobe. Promises of delivery and calls that never materialise only add to the frustration. To add insult to injury, they offered a paltry £10 to replace a £65 shirt! I'm posting this review hoping they finally take my concerns seriously and provide a fair resolution. My patience has worn thin, and this laundry company must improve its customer service and commitment to addressing issues promptly and fairly. Further to follow up - 6 weeks down the line. This response was just a copy and paste of an email that was sent to me. This doesn't address the issues in this review, just a very lazy copy and paste. Still have 5 Charles Trywhitt shirts missing, cost around £40 each and have said they can't compensate for more than £10. I am expected to think a credit on my account is going to be any use. Do you think I will trust my items to you in the future. I was expecting a call on Friday with an update and as per usual, nothing. I have to chase constantly and waste hours of time. I was hoping this review would nudge you into a resolve, but nothing. My last email copied the founder and MD, but nothing back, so at least this is consistent. 14/12 - still done nothing but offered a credit towards further cleaning. Still no resolve and customer services just send apologetic emails and do nothing. Whats the point of further credit when you have lost the shirts that I send to you to clean and you are doing nothing about them. Final notice has gone in and small claims court next!!!
