Jul 14,2014hi i had just returned from a 5 star all inclusive to Turkey, but on my last 2 days of my holiday i took ill, with what i thought was the Flu. i felt really terrible on the flight home,"one minute" burning up the other "freezing cold". the next day i stupidly went to work only to be sent home feeling unwell,my wife called the doctor and i had an emergency appointment, the doc carried out some blood tests ,only to confirm a few days later that i had in fact contracted Salmonella poisoning , i called the travel agents to complain about the hotel and if i could put in a complaint for my spoilt holiday and the fact that we had paid 5 star all inclusive and i contracted Salmonella from the hotels lack of hygene,,,,the agents totally ignored my claim. i just happened to be listening to Macks advert on the radio,and had also had previous recommendations from a family member that Macks had worked on his behalf and won him a substantial claim for an accident at work. i called into Macks on Woodlands Rd ,just to mention my holiday from hell, thinking that nothing could be done about the food poisoning, but the friendly helpful receptionist asked if i wouldn't mind having a chat with Anthony McCarthy,Anthony was very friendly and didn't bamboozle me with any legal terms ,Anthony pointed out that he would contact the travel Agents with my claim for lack of enjoyment and food poisoning Salmonella, Anthony stated that he would try but could not guarantee the outcome of my claim or if the travel agents would accept it. but less than 2 yrs later i have recieved a payout ,which at the offset i was not confident of recieving .Anthony and Macks have been brilliant throughout with regular updates in the form of letters/emails and regular telephone appointments, hence i didn't even need to go into the office . i wouldn't hesitate in using Macks again,in fact my son was involved in a non fault car accident and i recommended he spoken to Anthony! and Macks won him quite an extensive payout.

Also being a cyclist, he was entirely sympathetic to my case and had a full understanding of my rights as a road user. Despite obstructions from the defendant's insurers, he managed to reach a settlement with them which covered both my costs and injuries.

May 21,2014mack's solicitors was recommended to me when nick mack was very first setting up the business, they took on and won my case which other firms thought too complex and risky for them to their spend time on. since then i have returned as a client on quite a number of occaisions during differing times in my life, over about the last 17 years. i have always recommended Macks to family and friends and will continue to. Macks always find the right person to look after you and your case or just listen and give non-pressured commonsense advice. i always find this reassuring paticuarly since the firm has grown so much but not at the cost of becomming impersonal . i always say to friends give macks a ring and see what they think, i did and continue to.
