I ordered the NUCXi7 and have been extremely impressed at the build quality and performance at such a uniquely sized form factor. It handles anything I throw at it from gaming to editing, and the customer support team are very helpful!
I bought two computers, one as home cinema and one as main computer. I can say that I'm happy for these products, although I use Linux on both computers and both needs special boot parameters to function almost correctly. But this is a Linux related bugs_problems. One thing that needs some work from minisforum's side in my opinion is if there is newer uefi_bios update, there should be a notice at 'front/support' site and not digging around forum site. That's because on Linux it is not clear if they share the updates via fwupd service.

Ordered an UM580 which was noted to ship in mid-November. Upgraded to an UM690 by contacting support through email and was offered an additional discount for waiting so long. The upgrade process was a bit odd as I was directed to a page where I could pay a customizable amount, and the original order didn't update, but it all worked out fine. Very happy with the UM690 so far! Can say it is a little noisey under load for my tastes, but I'm putting it in a closet anyway. If this machine holds up well I'll be sure to buy more from MINISFORUM in the future.

Preordered the Neptune HX90G last fall. The delivery time ran late, but it turned out that the product quality was worth the delay. It's lived up to our every expectation. Before we received it we had contacted Minisforum support with questions about the the delay, and they were very prompt and courteous in responding. We now own three Minisforum mini PCs, and so far, so good!
Pre ordered a UM690. It was promised to be delivered end of November and arrived via DHL a few days later. Good service and excellent product - no complaints at all.
Dear Minisforum, your support can not understand or able answer simple questions, which is again expected. But PLEASE FOR GOD's sake, create a dedicated GPU bracket for 4090 series cards for B550 system! It is so simple for you and almost impossible for end user! I'm sure you are aware the 4090 doesn't fit to 2slots bracket which you currently supply with the product. I was asking everywhere about that and no meaningful response from your support, except that don't use 4090... Which is just ridiculous. I don't understand why people are ranting about their negative experience with MinisForum - you just need to understand: it is typical Chinese small company who doesn't even produce their own products, do you expect much from AliExpress shops? Same here. During holidays season everything is being crazy delayed, especially from China and Hong Kong - so why bother just wait. In terms of my personal experience - I'm owning B550 miniPC since October 2022, no real issues with it - everything works as expected and I use it daily with external GPU 3080, 2 nvmes and one sata ssd. Everything works fine, the only issue I had was with bitlocker and secure boot, so eventually I ended up disabling all that, sadly, as as of now it is not an option to reinstall everything (every time I enable secure boot and bitlocker for boot drive (- tried 2 times ) it was asking me to recover encr. key on start, regardless of settings and cleaning stored keys etc. That is the only issue I had.
Made my purchase on 17/12/22, I on vacation here in Europe, with back flight schedule to the end of January, so I asked them if my package arrives before 31/01/23, they confirmed in a email that it arrives before this date, today they inform that purchases made before 23/12/2022 will be only shipped mid-January (with 4 weeks of estimate arrival)…complete irresponsible customer support.
Reasonable delivery time considering it came from the other side of the planet during supply chain disruptions due to the Covid pandemic. Runs silently and fast, and it was easy to upgrade the SSD.
No real support !! I asked for help on 12.12.when my new HX90 stopeed working normally.After 14 "supports all went worse and worse no solution and since 22.12.No answer to my questions and pleasing for the support!! I am completely frustrated from the "support" and asked for refund my money or factory set up! No reply no help no support !!!! I have installed local user account to my Microsoft account. Then the next time I turn my PC on, there is only a "Sign In" button, and no other sign in methods such as PIN and password, which I have set up. When I click on the "Sign In" button, nothing happens. It only takes me to the lock screen just for me to click it again. I have tried shutting down and restarting my PC, startup repairing and system restoring in the troubleshoot option, and none of it worked. I have also tried entering safe mode, but it is only showing my lock screen wallpaper with no other options.
I pre-ordered the Neptune Series HX90G. It was shipped out a bit later then expected but I didn't mind. I really love my new mini PC! It is so compact and nice looking on my desk and has plenty of power! The build quality is also very good.

Pre-ordered UM690 on day one (Oct 25) which I believe was supposed to ship around end of Nov. This was delayed and I got tracking on Dec 16, and received the item on Dec 22. I wasn't too surprised about delays and was resolved faster than I expected. Shipping from Hong Kong to the US was super quick too. The product is awesome with great performance, low noise, good build quality and no stability issues so far, so my experience overall has been great.
HM80: The shipping is terrible, almost 2 months before arriving. But i'm very patient man. OK, i have it, it's small (for a plus), not so queit, but not so noise. I have version bareborne, i put in 1TB SSD m.2 and 2x8GB DDR4 2133 RAM. Installed Linux Mint 21 and... having crashes and freezing. So i installed Windows11 64bit - same thing, crashes and freezing. From support MF i have responde that my rams are not compatible. But when i readed forum MF, many people have this same issue. So, what is the problem, why doesn't resolved by Your'e Support? EDIT: December 25, 2022. Minisforum promised to send new machines. Instead, they are insisting me to download software and reinstall; go thru self check ups instead. They should have check all software works before they shipped. They ship and shouldn't expect customers to self check. Why should I trust minisforum when all they have done was lying... So what's the point of paying for high tech when they do not work? They did not have finished product. This is DEFECT. They should ship the PC that works. Not defects that I have to fix. I did not pay for barebone. I paid for 16GB with Windows 11 that should work with LAN port. I compared this new computer with my older computers, and this is not faster than i7 4th gen laptop or early i3 with Ubuntu. What a disappointment.
Catastrophic experience! My order hasn't been shipped for the past MONTH! No explanations given, no consolation and no REFUND despite my demand! UNACCEPTABLE!
We earlier purchased a pc on sale and weeks after the price wen't way down so not much of a sale. looking today and it says free shipping on they website if you spend more than 120$ but when going to checkout the shipping is 35$ as it has allways been which is expensive from Germany to Denmark, support even recommended me spending 35$ more for "extra USD$35 tariff insurance" despite they state sending from germany which is EU and should be no taxes.

(HX90G) I've been waiting for a sufficiently powerful Mini for a workstation computer I can take from place-to-place and doesn't stress too much thermally like a typical laptop workstation. The 500G SSD was a bit small to keep in place, but now I have a backup of the original system configuration, plus 6TB of internal storage. Easy to upgrade once you get past opening it up.
