I ordered a refurbished Minisforum UM450 via Amazon (sold by Minisforum Direct), but I was sent a completely different model — the UN1265, which unfortunately turned out to be DOA (dead on arrival). Instead of going through Amazon, I chose to contact Minisforum directly, thinking it would be quicker and more reliable to resolve the issue with the manufacturer. After weeks of email exchanges and submitting proof, they acknowledged the issue but then asked me to pay extra to receive a working replacement. I’ve sent multiple follow-ups, but I haven’t received a reply since April 10. It’s now been nearly a month without a working machine. I’ve also submitted complaints through official channels (SignalConso, eConsumer.gov) and still nothing. I had already lost a substantial amount of money in the past when Amazon mishandled a similar situation, which made me hesitant to return via Amazon again. Unfortunately, trying to deal directly with Minisforum has left me stuck once more. I can no longer recommend their refurbished products or their customer service.

I'm really disappointed I'm having to write this review. I'm sure Minisforum sell very good products in general, but there's more to running a company than just selling, they need to provide good customer service too. They do not and they don't care that they don't either because as long as they sell more than they refund it's not an issue for them. I bought a refurbished Minisforum HM60 pc which should have worked, but within a day it stopped. I contacted Minisforum but they expected me to take the unit apart and clean it, check all the parts (something they should have done before sending it). I refused and asked for them to provide a returns label. They don't do this either, they expect you to pay to send it back and then they 'promise' to send your money back, which they don't. If it wasn't for PayPal I wouldn't have received a penny, at least not any time soon (but I digress). After I sent it to them they were never in to collect it, but in the meantime I had sent multiple emails and then found out from them that they supplied the wrong adapter with the unit (this was 9 days after I had sent them a picture of it as they had asked and in that time I was already frustrated, lost confidence and posted it back). This would have been a completely different review if they had just tried harder, they think it's just one sale, but it's not. I would have bought every PC after from them and referred them to others, but I won't, I'll tell everyone that although they may make good PCs their after care is appalling. They've been around since 2018 and still haven't tried to get this right, I question how serious they are about their goals and ambitions (direct from their website): MINISFORUM aims to become a top-tier innovator, manufacturer, and supplier of mini PCs. All this is just talk, but there's no desire. As I said, if I hadn't bought it through PayPal I probably wouldn't have seen my refund as it happened to another reviewer on this site. It's just not worth the time, money and stress, but everyone's experience is different. If Minisforum are really commited to their customers as they claim, they need to take these reviews seriously, but I don't think they will.

I am absolutely FURIOUS with Minisforum's customer service and refund process. I purchased an MS-01 and decided to return it following ALL their stated return policies. I paid OUT OF MY OWN POCKET for DHL Express with signature confirmation to ensure safe delivery. The package was delivered and SIGNED FOR by a Minisforum employee on January 21, 2025 - nearly 4 MONTHS AGO! Despite having proof of delivery and following every single return requirement to the letter, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND. I have sent countless messages trying to resolve this issue. Their response? Complete silence or empty promises that lead nowhere. Every time I follow up, it's the same runaround with zero results. This is beyond unacceptable - it borders on FRAUDULENT behavior. They have my returned product AND my money! What kind of business operates this way? STAY AWAY from Minisforum! They'll gladly take your money but good luck ever getting it back if you need to return something. I've never experienced such blatant disregard for customer rights in my life. This company cannot be trusted with your hard-earned money.

Ricevuto in data 11.04.25 un mini PC Elite Mini 370. Purtroppo non ho potuto verificare la qualità costruttiva del prodotto, in quanto difettoso e soggetto a continui riavvii random, già in fase di completamento dell'installazione di Windows 11. Computer inservibile: dopo due giorni di prove ho scritto al supporto tecnico di Minisforum, chiedendo la sostituzione dell'apparecchio o il reso dello stesso. Mi è stato più volte risposto di effettuare dei test software e di cambiare l'alimentatore... I test li avevo già fatti, senza riscontri particolari. Ho ribadito che l'articolo era inservibile ed avrei gradito di poter fare il reso, ma mi è stato ancora suggerito di testare l'apparecchio... Sono stato costretto a chiedere di nuovo il reso e ad aprire una controversia su PayPal, il che richiede tempo e pazienza. Non metto in dubbio la qualità costruttiva della macchina, e comprendo una modesta percentuale di difettosità dei prodotti, ma il post vendita e l'assistenza tecnica di Minisforum sono veramente carenti! Per urgenza mi sono rivolto, nel frattempo, ad un concorrente dalla medesima nazionalità, che ha già dimostrato una migliore attenzione al cliente nel pre-vendita... Mai più Minisforum! In data 29.04.2025, dopo aver aperto un reclamo su PayPal ed aver scambiato con Minisforum diverse mail ove, finalmente, si è parlato di sostituzione/reso, a ricezione dell'apparecchio difettoso (rispedito a mie spese) è stato effettuato il rimborso. Servizio post vendita meglio di come si era presentato all'inizio, ma non mi sento certo di attribuire un punteggio eccellente...

I will start with that I am aware that other individuals have had issues with Minisforum in terms of order fulfillment, faulty hardware and the return process. That being said my experience so far (Touch wood) has been overall a positive one. Back in January 2024 I pre-ordered two MS-01 i5 units to use in my lab. The order went through okay however due to the units being new and the fulfillment being overwhelmed I didn't receive the units until March (However the site was clear they would be delayed so I cannot complain). I regularly spoke with one of the support reps (Shiny) who was super polite and helpful and informed me when my units had shipped. The units were so good I ordered an additional unit which arrived super quick without issues. There was a slight glitch late last year where one of the systems wouldn't power on after powering it off however the support team were quick to assist and after a complete reset (Power out, CMOS battery out, 3 minute reset, power button pressed) all was well. The MS-01 units I bought are great, there is room for improvement as the thermals do run close to the wire but considering the chips used they are still well within their tolerance but for something that is mission critical I would definitely consider auxiliary cooling for the units to prolong their lifespan. Overall for a newer company I have used I have been pleasantly surprised with the service and quality of the products

Honestly, for what you pay, it’s pretty spot on. We’ve grabbed a few refurbs in the past and never had issues—same deal here. It runs a bunch of my games on the STEAM deck no worries. Even bigger titles like Sims 4 play just fine. Definitely worth the coin!

正直に言って、なかなかいいPCです。ただ、FPSは50くらいしか出ないけど、そこまで悪くないよ。

Der Monitor spinnt ab und zu und schaltet sich für ein paar Sekunden aus, aber abgesehen davon ist es ein solides Einsteiger-Desktopgerät.

Also worth mentioning, I’ve got several APC battery backups in the house, and adding this one was an easy decision. Same reliable experience I’ve come to expect.

Petit CPU très sympa. Format réduit, design soigné, toutes les connectiques qu’il faut — même l’Ethernet et le VGA, ce qui devient rare de nos jours.

Die Größe des Geräts ist wirklich praktisch. Die Einrichtung verlief problemlos. Die Umstellung von Windows 7 auf Windows 11 war etwas knifflig, aber ich finde mich langsam zurecht.
