MISURI located in Piazza Santa Croce in Florence, is the oldest artisan shop in this district that is renowned as the site of numerous tanneries and leather goods during the 14th century. MISURI continues the activity from 1906 and today MISURI is recognized as that remaining establishment that still retains the manufacturing principles of that era dedicated to Florentine craftsmanship. The practice of vegetable tanning stands disappearing in Italy; the exception is here in Florence from MISURI where there is no shortage of beautiful vegetables bags and accessories in tanned leather. Furthermore MISURI artisans still use the gold pressing technique leaf under heated bronze tools was introduced in Italy in 1400 and personalize purchases by hand with the customer's initials. After a week without a shipping confirmation, I filled out a Contact form and received an email from Marie within 48 hours explaining that the design had changed. She sent photos of the new design and once I gave her the go-ahead, she put in the order and they were shipped with DHL. They arrived within a week of the last email and they are exactly the same as some that I had bought in Florence a few weeks earlier. Would definitely recommend this company and their products!

May 13,2023I purchased a beautiful brown purse with my initials embossed on the purse. Extremely pleased with the excellent craftsmanship of the purse and the staff were very polite. When I got home I wanted to order additional items and signed up for the newsletter to receive 10% discount on my order. I sent a message requesting the 10% be applied prior to completing the transaction however it’s been a couple of days and all I get is they’re off line. Please get back with me. I can’t wait to complete my transaction. Thank you so much.

The items we purchased: belt & buckle, men's leather jacket & woman's leather/fur coat are beautiful & magnificently crafted. We had a small issue with the belt buckle but when we sent photos and an inquiry into the situation, Misuri was quick to offer a solution. They stand by there products with outstanding service in a timely manor. We live in Maryland USA. I have and will continue to let all of our friends know about this wonderful leather store. It is a "MUST DO" for anyone traveling to Florence Italy. We will absolutely return on our next journey to Italy.

Feb 25,2023I purchased the same product for myself when I was in Italy las summer at your shop. I am disappointed in the in the quality of the lettering on two of the wallets. The letters "P" and "B" and "A" poorly embossed. The leather quality itself is excellent. The initials are not to the level of quality I expected. Respectfully, Patrick Leonard
