MISURI located in Piazza Santa Croce in Florence, is the oldest artisan shop in this district that is renowned as the site of numerous tanneries and leather goods during the 14th century. MISURI continues the activity from 1906 and today MISURI is recognized as that remaining establishment that still retains the manufacturing principles of that era dedicated to Florentine craftsmanship. The practice of vegetable tanning stands disappearing in Italy; the exception is here in Florence from MISURI where there is no shortage of beautiful vegetables bags and accessories in tanned leather. Furthermore MISURI artisans still use the gold pressing technique leaf under heated bronze tools was introduced in Italy in 1400 and personalize purchases by hand with the customer's initials. When we were last in Firenze, out granddaughter, Madison, just loved being in the leather shop at Santa Croce. Just the smell of cuoio can bring us back to Firenze. We hope to get back there next year when she finishes her sophomore year in college and goes to Italia for the summer. Also, I want to thank Gaby for her great assistance.

Nov 11,2022I visited this store on August 25, 2022, while on vacation. As with most Excursions, you just don't have time to shop. We purchased belts for the men, had them initiated while we were there and loved the customer service and professionalism. When we returned home, I decided that I wanted to order coin courses for ladies in the family. After several emails, and feeling all questions answered in a quick timely manner, we ordered on October 18, 2022. They arrived in about three and one half weeks and are absolutely gorgeous. Thanks to Misuri for everything and their great customer service. We will be back.

Oct 01,2022I ordered two leather key chains and I paid to have them shipped to me. One of them arrived defective with the decorative markings falling off. I have tried multiple different ways to contact them to get a replacement and I haven’t gotten any response back. They supposedly have a messaging system but they are always offline. I paid a lot of money for the key chain and I would expect nothing but top notch quality and for them to stand by their quality. I am not impressed.

Sep 22,2022Have just received my Kelly Bag which I ordered in Florence when I was on a cruise in August. It is lovely, and I have received the order earlier than promised. The reason I have given it 3 stars is because the person who sold it to me was lovely. This all changed when I went to pay to another woman, she was awful looked down her nose at me and was rude. I was very close to cancelling the order the reason I didn’t was because the bag was beautiful and I wanted something to remind me of my trip to Florence.

She was able to find the same style and color in stock and even placed it onto their website for me so i could order it. It arrived 7 days later. Would recommend this shop to anyone.
