MISURI located in Piazza Santa Croce in Florence, is the oldest artisan shop in this district that is renowned as the site of numerous tanneries and leather goods during the 14th century. MISURI continues the activity from 1906 and today MISURI is recognized as that remaining establishment that still retains the manufacturing principles of that era dedicated to Florentine craftsmanship. The practice of vegetable tanning stands disappearing in Italy; the exception is here in Florence from MISURI where there is no shortage of beautiful vegetables bags and accessories in tanned leather. Furthermore MISURI artisans still use the gold pressing technique leaf under heated bronze tools was introduced in Italy in 1400 and personalize purchases by hand with the customer's initials. Jul 01,2024I recently visited the store in Florence Italy! It was amazing. Loved EVERYTHING in the store. Wanted to order my husband and son belts for fathers day. I went on line and did so directly with Misuri. I followed up with an email to the store. One of their representatives got back to me within 24 hours and confirmed she had located my order and was making sure it was taken care of ASAP! Belts arrived with initials included. They are beautiful. The quality is nothing like any other! So glad I decided to order directly from Misuri!

Jun 10,2024I am so frustrated! I bought a lovely Misuri purse when I was in Florence because I was told the quality is very good. I brought the purse home to the US and not even one week later, all of the stitching came loose and the handle fell off! I have been contacting customer service and they keep putting me off saying they have to check with manufacturer? I thought these were high quality leather items made locally….

Apr 29,2024I bought a wallet from Misuri when I was in Italy a decade ango and he cherished it. We had many good memories in the sweet piazza de Santa Croce. Last week our new puppy ate the wallet and I was really sad. Being able to find it again from the same shop in the same piazza was awesome. My husband was so happy.
