The practice of vegetable tanning stands disappearing in Italy; the exception is here in Florence from MISURI where there is no shortage of beautiful vegetables bags and accessories in tanned leather. Furthermore MISURI artisans still use the gold pressing technique leaf under heated bronze tools was introduced in Italy in 1400 and personalize purchases by hand with the customer's initials. Dec 25,2023Gorgeous gloves, buttery soft, beautiful colors. I bought from this company while in Italy and made sure to buy from them when I wanted to gift leather gloves. I wish they came with some sort of store tag attached because they simply have one thread attaching them, nothing else denoting them as a new purchase. Sometimes I worry people might think I’m “re-gifting”. They normally take a couple of weeks to arrive but around the holidays they arrived extremely quickly.

I got delivery faster than expected, with updates on en-route progress, plus a note the day of delivery that signature would be required so I was able to adjust my schedule (would have been better to know that farther in advance). The gloves are beautiful: butter-soft leather, lovely teal green/blue color. Fingers a bit too long (I have normal-length fingers), but should be ok once I've worn the gloves a bit and they adjust to my hand.
