The practice of vegetable tanning stands disappearing in Italy; the exception is here in Florence from MISURI where there is no shortage of beautiful vegetables bags and accessories in tanned leather. Furthermore MISURI artisans still use the gold pressing technique leaf under heated bronze tools was introduced in Italy in 1400 and personalize purchases by hand with the customer's initials. I was preparing for my next trip to Florence I happened to go to their website to plan a shopping day. While there I ended up buying 3 handbags. They came in a week and they are just beautiful. And again quality. Can't wait for my trip live in the store.
