The practice of vegetable tanning stands disappearing in Italy; the exception is here in Florence from MISURI where there is no shortage of beautiful vegetables bags and accessories in tanned leather. Furthermore MISURI artisans still use the gold pressing technique leaf under heated bronze tools was introduced in Italy in 1400 and personalize purchases by hand with the customer's initials. Oct 21,2023In March 2023 we went to Misuri Leather while on a Gate 1 tour. We had a nice time. There was a great of selection of leather goods. My wife wanted me to buy myself a belt as a memento of our trip to Italy, which I did. It is a reversible black and brown belt. The belt began to separate. I contacted Misuri Firenze regarding my belt. They agreed to send me a replacement. I was very pleased with their quick decision. I would have no issue with going back to this location as they stand behind their products. Thank you Gaby.
