Jul 11,2018Sent my iPhone 7 away to these guys, it wasn’t the best price for the phone but seemed reasonable. I got an email say my phone was only worth £169 not £210, as it had scuff marks on it. When I sent the phone away it was immaculate, and because they said it had scuff marks on it I asked for the phone back again. When I got it home there was a cut on the front at the top. They state it wasn’t them but it must have been. They have taken no responsibility at all. Do not use them. You have been warned

Jul 09,2018What a rip off company, sent them a 12 month old S7 in perfect condition and got offered £16.25!!! Wish I had read these reviews before I started dealing with them rather than just go with what appeared to be a 5 star company on the comparison site. Don't use this company they are proper rip off merchants how they carry on trading I will never know. I can't review on their website, I wonder why!!

Jul 09,2018Sent my immaculate Iphone 6s 16GB in to this company with a sale value of £170, to be told 10 days later that they could only offer me £17 because I had selected Iphone 6s PLUS "Which is definitely not the case" and also that the phone could not be activated. I had to pay £5 to have the phone returned which I did doubt would arrive. A week later a phone arrived which was not mine, had a crack in 2 places on the screen and various other scratches on the case. They blamed Royal Mail !!! I now have a phone that I can only sell as damaged !!! Whatever you do DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!! EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jul 06,2018Father in law's Samsung S7 been in a case and protective screen since new, absolutely top condition but somehow they manage to find scratches??? Offered £64 less than orginal offer. This was after me chasing up the order after almost 2 weeks of no communication. Avoid at all costs!

Jul 05,2018DO NOT USE!! Quoted £85 for my Samsung Galaxy S6 which was in excellent condition, minor scratches on the outer casing as you would expect for a 3 yr old phone. Had to chase several times to find out what was happening as I didn't hear anything for a while after they received my phone. Eventually I got an email advising the phone had scratches, scuffs and water bubbles on the screen and my revised offer was £8.50!! I requested the device to be sent back which I then sold to Music Magpie for £96 - worked out well in the end but avoid Mobile Cash Mate.

Jul 04,2018Sent them my Xperia Z5 in absolutely mint condition based on agreed price of £75. They've had it for weeks and now say it's scuffed, has "pressure marks" whatever they are and there's screen burn. I don't believe that screen burn is present at all but it's fixable with a free app anyway! They've offered me £7.50 for the phone which I've refused so I now await the return of my phone. Do not trust this company, they're clearly rip-off merchants.

Jul 02,2018They take forever to test and then make up reasons to reduce the payout. Specifically, I sent a newly refurbished Sony Z5 premium. It was repaired under warranty by Sony and had a host of new parts including a new screen. These tried telling me that the screen was faulty.

Jun 27,2018SCAMMERS Terrible company... Was quoted £130 and offered £81 for a supposed cracked screen! When I rejected and received the phone back there was no cracked screen and WeBuyTek.com have just given me the full £130 quoted for the perfect condition phone. DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS!!

Jun 20,2018More like zero stars!!! What a horrendous company! Don't know how they are still trading. Sold them my Samsung s6 for £85 when they got phone took ages to email me to say the offer was now £8! Absolute cowboys! DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS. They also take ages to send your phone back once you decline offer.

Jun 19,2018If I could give no stars I would. This company service is awful and their aftercare is even worse. The email thread between MobileCashMate and myself is more like a bickering friend. They should really try improve on their customer service. I accidentally left the pass-code on my device so I confirmed the pass-code and still they advised this denied entry but would not send video evidence of this. Upon return this will be my pass-code as it is my code for everything and I had to pay £5 to return the device. They only respond to emails and their phone lines are open 10am-4pm, which if you work 9 - 5 is not very helpful. Regardless of that fact you cannot get through to them anyway. They do not have a queuing system so if someone is on the phone you just the the busy tone which overall really dampens the service they offer without even speaking to them. I called them at 10.03am and got the busy tone and the same for the following days throughtout different times of the day. They are very unhelpful and will not call you even if you ask (I did ask a handful of times), they also said emailing is fine so its like they dont want to answer the phone anyway. I wish I had read these reviews as I previously have dealt with Mazuma Mobile and Envirophone and never had any issues and they are polite and helpful.

Jun 13,2018the worst phone selling service I have come across. There online valuation was £384, but because of minor scratches they offered me £250, the process took 10 days in total which far longer than Mazuma. Poor show.

Jun 08,2018They priced my Samsung s7 edge at £160. After the tested it they came back with the price of £16!!! Ok it had pink line and few other issues but 16 pounds?!! So I opted to have my mobile sent back to me. Guess what! No money, no phone!!! Tried to ring them - number always busy!!!

Jun 06,2018Exactly the same as the other reviews! Do NOT use this company, I should have checked these reviews before sending my phone off. They offered the highest price on a comparison website as everyone else has said - £76. Once they received my phone they emailed to say there was a pink hue on the screen that could be seen on a white background so the most they could offer me was £6. THAT'S A REDUCTION OF £70!!! I also imagine this "hue" is because I left my screen protector on the phone when I sent it off. Most shocking customer experience in a long time!!!!

Jun 06,2018I’m their customer since 24th August 2016. It was good working with them before but not any more. Phones get blacklisted and also no feedback on returns. The ratio of faulty stock in every order was 70 to 80%. Returns process policy is 3 to 5 working days but I’ve been waiting for about a month to get it sorted but no response from them. Not answering my calls no call back and no reply in messages or email. Looks like thugs now. Not trustworthy anymore. Ever bad working experience I have with them now.

Jun 05,2018Sent them a brand new replacement Apple iphone 7 128gb direct from Apple. When they received it they said it was scratched and had to replace parts! Then offered me over £40 less! This company scams you by offering you the highest offer on websites like compareandrecycle.co.uk (who amazingly recommend them and give them 5 stars) and then makes up faults and damages. I have made a complaint to this company and had no reply. compareandrecycle replied to my complaint but were of no help what so ever. Read all the reviews for this company they are all true, same story. Stick with the better know and more reputable companies and g through them direct dont use useless comparison websites they do not want to help when you have a problem.

Jul 14,2018Really awful people. Do not send your phone here. Sent my iPhone 8 only had few light surface scratches just from general use. I haven't had it long. Had an email to say they would give me 200 less than the original price they offered so I asked for the phone to be sent back. The listed the problem to be scratches on the screen. When I got the phone back there were deep obvious scratches that look like they have been purposely put there! Please don't send your phones here! I wish I'd read the reviews first!
