Apr 21,2018Terrible company. Claimed my phone's camera didn't work, so knocked £60 off quote. Refused and got phone back. Thankfully the camera is still working perfectly on its return. Don't be seduced by the inflated initial quote. Go to a more reputable company and get a more modest price for your phone as opposed to dealing with these con artists.

Apr 19,2018Con artists. Sent them a phone that had been in a case under a screen protector since it was bought and hadn't got a mark on it. I even took pictures of it from every angle to prove it. They wrote back claiming it had scratches on the screen and housing and knocked a third off the price. Claimed they had pictures to prove it but refused to send them. They are just liars. I am reporting them to the trading standards officer for deceptive trading practices, and to be honest they could also be charged with fraud. They should be shut down and the directors of the company should be banned. When you ask for the contact details of their Managing Director, which they are legally required to provide you with, they dodge and evade the question. Dodgy as hell.

Apr 17,2018Bait and switch. They offered £40 less than quoted as there were scratches to the bezel. The condition of the phone was good, according to their criteria, there isn’t an option to select brand new, I suspect they have never paid the amount they quote. Reading the other reviews, if the phone is in perfect physical condition they will,say it has “screen burn” to weasel out of the quote. I took their offer as I was losing the will to live, but I would recommend you seek another company. Their business model is to quote one price and then underpay by 40%, hoping you will be weak enough to accept. I was weak. Don’t be weak like me, be strong, mobile phone selling Padawans.

Apr 13,2018Why didn't I check the reviews on this company before using them? I have just received my offer from them and condition report on my Samsung S7. The phone is as new and has not got a scratch, dent or blemish; it looks brand new. The website stated that they pay up to £173.00 for this mobile yet they are now stating that my phone has chips around the edges of the outer casing with scratches on the screen. This is untrue and now I am afraid of rejecting their offer of £129.75 for fear of them deliberately causing that damage to say that it was always there. Do not use this company; I really wished I had not.

Apr 12,2018This company offered me £679 for my Iphone X, I paid to send it tracked to get it there securely. Once they received it they said the phone was blocked to some networks and wouldn't pay and wouldn't return my item. I have reported them for fraud but they still have a brand new phone for free to sell on. Do not use this company!!

Apr 10,2018DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Wish I'd read these reviews before sending my iPhone 7 128GB in perfect condition only one year old. They offered £290 then reduced it to £217.50 even though my phone had always had a screen protector and been in an Apple case. They said the case could have caused the scuffs (that I'd never seen) but it was a genuine Apple case so I don't believe it could have caused damage. Extremely disappointing and an absolute rip off. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to carry on trading - they promised a fair price and then reneged - then you're stuck because if you ask them to return your phone it will not be insured and how do you know it will be in the same condition as when you you sent it? They don't deserve one star to be honest but it doesn't allow a zero rating :( Take my advice and recycle elsewhere.

Apr 23,2018I have one word for this company, Charlatans! They offer a ridiculously high price and offer much lower prices. My iPhone X apparently has scratched and instead of offering me the £631 quoted price, they offered me £470! A joke as there was no scratches on the phone, all my phones are immaculate. I took pictures before I sent the item, if the item is returned back to me with any marks on it, I shall issue court proceedings to recover the cost of the damage. Do not be sucked in by the high price offered as this will never be met. There is a reason why other companies do not offer as high a price simply because the prices quoted are not the current market value! Avoid at all costs. I will be contacting trading standards as I would not be surprised if the company were deliberately undervaluing or even damaging the items themselves! Mobilecashmate, you should be ashamed of yourselves!
