Very unsatisfied customer here! I am yet to receive my items that were ordered months ago. The responses from 'contact@modakawa' have been telling me to contact the delivery company myself, and to be patient while they fix it; with no answer as to when I will receive my purchase. Where I had been organised for birthdays I am now sadly empty handed and frustrated. Not good enough
Modakawa out of business? I have been buying from this company for nearly 4 years and have been mostly happy with purchases. Their communications have never been very good but this time, I have zero. As a matter of fact, I paid and on website, it says there is no orders pending. I've emailed and no reply, I've called and the phone number is no good. but somebody clearly took my money a month ago. ---------------------------------------------------------- Today, I did get a response from Modakawa: Dear customer, We apologize for the inconvenience. Goods has already been arranged for you . Please track the shipment via (17track.net) with tracking number UC--------- . And sometimes there is a delay for the update of shipping info, Please do not worry and have a check 3-5 days later if this problem occurs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Best regards, Modakawa Team ----------------------------------------------------------- When going to this tracking site, it finally shows movement from 10/05/21... I will keep updating here. I absolutely love shopping here and I love their products. Crossing my fingers that this is a one time glitch, raising another star for swift response here as well as my e-mail. --------------------------------------------------------- I've added another star just for the fact that my items did finally reach me 6 weeks later. As much as I've loved shopping here, from now on I think I'm going to have to think twice. Products that arrived seemed more like a 'cheap knock offs'. I don't know how else to discribe them. What you see and what you get are totally different now. Embroidery half done, material bad and horrible stiching are some examples. 5 star Modakawa I remember I don't think now is. Very sad because the fashion idea is so cute. Good luck to those who shop there. Please let me know if product quality improves and tracking begins to work again.

Ordered a $46 hoodie and received a $10 mask with a completely different order number one whole month later. Am now waiting for a reply to my email and direct message from Modakawa to fix this issue. Either waiting for a replacement with my actual hoodie or a full refund, really disappointed. ORDER #MK79639 Update: Email sent 3 days later about receiving a refund that will take 5-7 business days to process. Will wait on the refund. Update #2: Received the refund but they only refunded the $32 I paid for the hoodie but not the extra $10 for the shipping I paid, so I lost $10 from that. Customer service was very good on their part, and I received help fairly quickly, but I don’t think I’ll try buying from them again. (1 star change to 2 stars for the customer service).

Package arrived promptly. Clothes were a great quality. Sizing ran smaller that most brands but I went by the sizing chart and got the perfect sizes. And the clothes were so cute.
I ordered many items around 26th of august, and they have not yet sent them to me (it has been well over a month). It is not even possible to look up my order info, like they have removed it. I tried to reach out and ask for an update, telling my order number (MK77392) or aski g when they will send the clothes to me. Never got a reply. I feel like I got scammed. Dont buy from this shop, it is a scam. - Update for my review. I did eventually get contacted, and I got my items sent to me. But in total, it took about 2 months to get my order. On top of all, upon getting the items, some of the sizes were not as described and the quality was not the best for the clothes. Thus I am still feeling rather disappointed with this purchase. The clothes looked much better in the pictures. At least I got my items...
I ordered some cute earrings from this site. The arrived in adorable packaging and where affordable in my opinion. I would definitely recommend buying stuff from these guys as it’s all super cute.
Final Update: They deserve an edit and better review after several conversations with them. I asked for a refund and they promptly returned it without questions, further communicating with me about one of my item missing it's tassel. They couldn't send me just the tassel but to do right they attempted to send me the missing items again. They have a lot of room for improvement in their services, but if you put pressure on them they will respond and correct it. Hope others have a more pleasant and smooth experience. Old: Awful services and unpleasant experience. Made my order on September 2nd, got a ready for shipment respond on Sep 13th, and then I went to check my tracking number over the weekend after not receiving another update for awhile and the link is broken, thought maybe it was a temporary error. Wrote in for customer support, heard nothing for almost 2 days. I've been scammed. Do not buy. I'm going to file a dispute over this next week if I continue to not hear back from them. Extremely frustrating. Update: I finally heard back from them and an updated tracking number. However, only 1 item out of the 3 I bought arrived, 2 missing and the 1 item I bought is missing the tassel. Update 2: Please don't reply here while telling me to write to your email. I already did and I have not gotten any reply for the entire week. I'm still missing my 2 other items and a tassel for the 1 item I received.
I bought a "one-size" jacket which looks large in the image - and it was incredibly small when it arrived, as if it were sized for an 8 year old. The quality is not amazing either to be charging for such expensive prices. For quality like this, I would recommend AliExpress, where you can at least save triple your money. Shopping here has made me feel insulted.

I was really pleased with Modakawa, its products and its customer service. I bought a few items as a gift for my wife for her birthday and she absolutely loved them! There were technical issues with the website and I sent an e-mail to their customer service which was promptly responded to. I was really happy with their reassurance and tracking of my order at the same time. I will definitely recommend shopping with them and will be a repeat customer myself. Has to be one of the best online stores i have seen! The clothes are really good quality and theres never been any issues with delivery. I would definetly recommend.
-Edit- 2 of the items I ordered were fantastic but 1 item never arrived. I had to chase it up and was told the item didn't pass quality inspection, however the item was still being advertised and sold on the website. Modakawa offered a replacement or refund but when I asked for a refund they never responded. -Original review- Good quality dress and hat that fits! My order has been sent in two shipments which I find odd, but the two items that have arrived are great quality for the price and arrived amazingly fast.
Well, I wanted to leave a review on their actual website, where people are likely to see it, but why not, I was directed here. The product is what I expected as far as quality. Clean, looks like the images on the website. However if you are like me, pay very close attention to those measurements. Because the clothes do NOT have wiggle room. If it says 100 cm around the bust it is exactly 100 cm. I thought it would be fine because this is bigger than my chest by a little, but I did not factor in that I would struggle to get it over my shoulders. I'm keeping the items because I believe I can work with it and modify it so it fits, but this is a heads up for whomever might come across this. These clothes fit small.

The items I bought looked so nice on the site, the price seemed ok, but the actually items were completely different in appearance and of very lousy quality with loose threads. Wrote to modakawa who said it was the supplier, offered a 25% discount and for me to just keep the items. But the items costed more than 60 US dollars and it was just a blatant fraud that I found that offer very hard to accept!

Oct 10,2021I received my order a little over a month after placing my order. Everything is as pictured and according to each item's sizing charts. Some of the sizing charts could be more detailed instead of generalizing based on customer's weight or height. The embroidery on the clothing is machine embroidery, so not as detailed, and sometimes there are stray threads. But overall, the embroidery is pretty average and the design is appealing. Read descriptions carefully as some items may have a picture with an ornamental tassel, but the description specifies that the tassel is not included. Overall, a good impression of this company. I'm glad I decided to try this company out because now I have some traditional qipao/cheongsam style clothing I can wear casually.
