Aug 16,2021I was honestly kind of worried about shopping from here, but there was no real reason for it. The tracking information was sent to me a few days after I ordered the clothes, and 2-3 weeks later, the package arrived! I ordered the frog hoodie and snack time bunny t-shirt. I sized up for both, which was kind of a mistake, but they still fit me just fine! I haven't washed either item yet, but the fabric and print feels good quality. I wasn't expecting the shirt to be comfortable or good quality since it was so cheap ($5 CAD), but it's honestly really nice. I'd probably find it for $20 at another store, so I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I'm so excited to order more from this store, since their selection is awesome! I would recommend this store to all of my friends and would advise you to make a purchase if you're interested in it. I hope my review convinced you to buy from here because their clothes are seriously so nice!

Aug 12,2021I was a bit scared of buying from here as the reviews are kind of mixed, but I decided I would risk it and bought a hoodie and I love it! It's so thick, soft, and cute ❤ I will definitely be buying from them again! The shipping took about a month, but that's standard for smaller companies so I didn't really mind. I bought he zipper frog hoodie with inner fleece in xl, and it fits perfectly.

Aug 03,2021I’ve got to admit I was a little frightened of the reviews I saw when I ordered from modakawa, but I’m very happy with what I got. I bought a t-shirt, a cotton candy hoodie, two collared/button-up cat shirts, and a strawberry tote bag that totaled to about $90 and arrived in a little over three weeks. The tracking worked as intended for me. The shirts fit perfectly and the measurements they had on their site were 100% accurate, so go by the measurements and NOT the size you would typically pick. I see this issue in a lot of other reviews, but the measurements are accurate and that is on the buyer. I didn’t buy any pants so I have no comment on the sizing for those. The material was nice for the price but had a few loose strings that didn’t cause any issues. The t-shirt was VERY soft and the strawberry bag I got was very high quality and I’m glad I got it! Everything I bought was more expensive on other sites, so modakawa was really the way to go. The hoodie I bought smelled really strange and weird, but the material was great and all it needed was a wash. The other items smelled fine and I felt comfortable trying them on immediately after opening the package. I’m highly likely to buy from modakawa again and had an overall good experience! Best of luck to those hoping to buy some cute clothes! :)

Jul 31,2021i ordered an oversized hellboy hoodie and some fishnet stockings and i really enjoy them so far!! it had shipped faster than i thought it would and everything is very good quality! The only complaint i have is that i wish the inside of the hoodie was a bit of a softer material, but otherwise i love it! :)

Jul 26,2021Extremely happy with my order! However, i'm not sure if this was bad on my part or the company; but I did not get any updates on the locations or anything like that. I ordered my items online on the 3th of July and recieved it on the 26th of July! So that's a good amount of wait time. The clothing I bought was worth a little over $100 and the shirts I got were made out of this stretchy material. No weird smells! I got everything I bought:)) Definitely worth a shot of buying the things they sell if you're considering😎

Beware of sizing if you’re in the US, make sure to read all sizing descriptions before purchasing and you’ll find everything fits. I’ve ordered many times from this website and have been happy with my purchase every time

Jul 17,2021I already bought a lot of things from this website, not all of them satisfied me, but the frog coat is 100% 5 star. The green colour of the coat is very pleasing and beautiful. If you were wondering about eyes like me, the eyes are embroidered. It is an oversized coat, so please pay attention to its size or it would be too big for you. The frog paws on the sleeves are adorable and the fact that in this coat you can hide from the world in a frog's head is so funny and makes this coat even better! The shipping to my country took 3 weeks and 5 days. I need to say that compared with the other websites it is pretty fast. My dear frog lovers don't doubt - this coat is for you! Highly recommend it!

The only issue I had was a dress I got once was bigger than expected but that is because in my experience with other places selling Asian fashion, it is best to size up. However, this site has been true to size, so now i know I don’t need to do that!

Jul 01,2021Okay, to start off the shirts I got from here are as described and pretty good quality. I really love the boyfriend/girlfriend button-up shirts. Totally happy with that purchase. All of the clothes are super cute! On the other hand - their bottoms ARE NOT THE SIZE THEY SAY THEY ARE! I spent $70+ for clothes that I triple checked would fit and they DID NOT FIT when I got them. Beware when the clothes don't fit - you will be wasting TONS of money. If you want a full refund you have to pay to ship it back (with tracking) - shipping to them from the US will cost you over $40 and it's not guaranteed they will give you a refund when they receive the item. Even if the item arrives faulty/bad quality you will still be responsible for shipping and you will lose money - they will be sure of that. The ONLY reason I gave three stars is because of the shirts I bought and the fact that they gave me 'some of my money back plus a 20%off coupon and told me to keep the items, but I even had to haggle with them back and forth to get even that. Fair warning: If you have bigger thighs or even an actual butt, their bottoms WILL NOT FIT. I am NOT a big person (130lbs with a small waist). Like I said - I went by their measurements and they were WRONG. If you have anything that resembles a woman's body they will not fit. They are made for square-shaped bodies - the people that have no curves whatsoever. I won't be buying anything from here again except the shirts/hoodies, but I'll be looking at other stores for cheaper prices and a better return policy first. They do not serve the customers if something goes bad, whether it was your fault or not. Update: I further took a star away from this site because of how they treat their customers. I received a card with my order stating to leave a review on trustpilot and I would get a $5 off coupon. This was their reply to my 3star review "Dear customer, Thanks for your reply. We are afraid that we could not send you a gift card as it is not a positive feedback, only 4 stars and 5 stars feedback could benifit, hope for your understanding. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us." This further proves my point that they don't care about their customers and do not keep their word. I just placed an order for the 4th of July sale - this will be my final and last order from this site. They have lost a customer for good.

Jul 01,2021The clothes were expensive and did smell slightly funny, but the sizes were true to the description and a tracking code was provided so I could see the delivery status. I especially liked the cat hoodie, it was adorable and high quality, perfect for winter!

Aug 17,2021All of their products are sourced from AliExpress or Taobao. The same exact clothing can be found on those site for rough 1/3 ~ 1/2 of their price (discounting shipping, after is closer to potentially 1/4). Modakawa DOES offer a good selection of clothing but none of it are from Hong Kong, from specific Artisans or Boutiques. Take note when purchasing. Your package will 100% come from somewhere within China, just check it when receiving. It will say it's from a city that's not Hong Kong. Case in point, Modokawa's Cat Tie Wooden Buckle shirt. Search "cat tie shirt kawaii" on AliExpress. Same shirt. Other items can be often found by typing phrases like "kawaii, harajuku, shirt/socks/shoes/pants/skirts/hoodie" on said site. In fact, the frog hoodie on the main page is also from AliExpress. A simple "frog hoodie" will turn it up, and at $8.15 USD. The plus to Modakawa is good quality and good selection. This company ultimately does not have a warehouse outside of China, which implies this is a dropshipping company. If you're really interested in these style of clothing there is ACDC RAG and LISTEN FLAVOR instead.
