Jan 24,2025I tried to purchase some items and they claimed that I couldn't use my Bank of American VISA card. I've had it for over 10 years and I use it all the time at other Precious Metal companies. They neutered my account so that I couldn't even use any other type of payment. Calls to the company have not been returned. I don't recommend this company as there are too many that are much better!!!

Dec 05,2024I ordered 9 oz of silver coins and rounds during one of Monument Metal's "spot price" sales. Often, sellers will send out their slightly off items, with little dings and milk spots. Every item Monument Metals sent me was perfect. AND, I got them in two days!!

Aug 24,2024The Post Office lost my checks, so I reached out to them to resolve the issue. The only option they gave me was to wire the money asap, or they would cancel my order. Which obviously didnt work for me, which is why I sent a check in the first place. They wont do anything to work with you. The customer service is the worst Ive seen in the metals industry. Im glad it was a trial purchase....would have hated to given so much money to a terrible company. Im buying gold elsewhere now.

Jul 22,2024i had to wait 4 weeks for a order. still never received order and when i asked for a refund they made it difficult. charging me a restock fee for their incompetence along with blocking my account so i can no longer buy from them. horrible company

Apr 18,2024I was super excited to order from them. They ended up canceling my order without notifying me. I told them I’m a new customer and didn’t even try to keep my business. They told me the only way for me to order is by phone and I can’t even pay via my checking account because they flagged it as fraud. They couldn’t tell me the exact reason why it was declined. Update: really impressed with the response from them. I was able to sort out the order issue and the CFO personally called me to make sure I don’t have any other issues. I will update again once I get my order.

Apr 07,2024I placed an order with Monument Metals on Wednesday 3/27/24. I wired the full cost of my order to Monument Metals the next day, 3/28/24. Monument Metals confirmed they did receive my wire payment on 3/29/24 and told me "the order will enter the shipping queue immediately." Today is April 6, 2024, 8 days since Monument Metals received my payment. The order has yet to start the shipping process! Unbelievable! I have ordered Precious Metals from other online Metal dealers over many years and NEVER had to wait this long for my paid in full order - to be shipped. For example, the same day I placed this order with Monument Metals, I also placed an order with a different online Metals dealer, SD Bullion. My payment to SD Bullion was also sent via wire on 3/28/24. By contrast, SD Bullion shipped my order on 4/1/24, and it was delivered 2 days later, on 4/3/24. It was a very smooth no hassle process with SD Bullion and other Precious Metal dealers I've dealt with over many years. In my opinion, Monument Metals has a problem delivering their product timely as compared to other online Precious Metal dealers I've dealt with. I called Monument Metals the day after they received my payment as I never received their shipping confirmation, which they said I would receive the next day. I was told the order is still in the shipping queue. So I asked if they could check if they have the items I purchased in stock. They checked and said yes, they do have it in stock. Then why aren't you shipping it?? There is obviously a problem with their inventory, or ability to ship orders that have been paid in full. My concern is they don't have the products in stock that they're selling. Buyer beware with this company!!! I won't be using them again. UPDATE 4-9-24: The CFO, Daniel Lee, of Monument Metals reached out to me after learning of my review on Trust Pilot. I give Daniel Lee credit for doing that. He wanted to know more about the situation to help train his staff better & hopefully avoid repeating the mistakes made with my order. Daniel apologized for the errors and delay his company caused and assured me he would get my order out the next day, which he did! He also offered to personally handle any future orders if I decide to give them another try. If I do decide to place another order with this company, I will definitely take Daniel up on his offer. Given Daniel's desire to make things right, I would raise my rating to 3.5 stars for now.

Payment was approved in a good time frame and products shipped quickly and discreetly. I am extremely happy with them overall and will be using them for plenty more orders in the future.

Feb 17,2024After purchasing a number of bullion products from this company with no complaints, I purchased a 1 oz proof Silver Mexican Libertad. Once it arrived I noticed the obverse was scratched. So I took it out of the capsule so I could get an accurate picture to send to them. What they do in turn is tell me that because I took it out of the capsule, which would have made it difficult to take a picture and the capsule was scratched as well, that their quality control company saw no problems with the coin. So I asked you all to consider this. As a coin collector why would I take a proof coin out of the holder and scratch it up and believe me you can tell by the picture this was not done by me, this arrived to them this way and that's why they were selling it for $84 when they're competitors were selling them for around $100 or over. Never purchase another product from this company again. They do not stand by their products and they put the blame on the customer rather than taking the responsibility for the crap product they sent me.

Feb 14,2024Well Monument metals has very competitive pricing I've encountered a problem trying to return a proof coin that was all scratched up. I sent numerous messages to the company without any reply. As you know proof coins are supposed to be mirror like finish without any scratches and the latest coin I received from them is less than stellar. If you're purchasing bullion I would not hesitate but in this case I am not very happy as they have not gotten back to me regarding this rather expensive purchase of a proof Mexican Libertad.

I also had an incident where my order was lost in the mailing system and after some time of waiting they just decided to send me a new order without waiting for the recovery of the lost metals package. So with that experience I put Monument in my top 3 for life.

Nov 14,2023I purchased a 1 oz. gold coin on November 1st via ach. Although the payment cleared the next day, they sat on sending it out until a week later, thus ensuring the shipment would be sent over a holiday weekend. The upshot is it was misdelivered by usps, and now I am out over 2 grand. Disappointed, to say the least. For God’s sake, don’t deal with this mess. Get your metals from a local dealer. Update: Although I was supposed to sign for the delivery, instead usps left in my mailbox-though they said I signed I did not. So MM complied with their stated procedures. Sorry for doubting them-they had always been reliable before.

Aug 25,2023These cats deliver! I dipped my toes in a couple months back with them. My first order of metal arrived at my doorstep securely and accurately in under two weeks. I have made 3 or 4 more purchases since because of this reliability.

Jun 08,2023I have only recently discovered Monument Metals. I have now made six purchases with Monument Metals and every one has been a good experience. Packaged good and very discreate. They run great sales and routinely seems to have the lower prices. I will always look at Monument Metals first when buying gold or silver. They also have great customer service. I have called twice with questions. They were very helpful and pleasant. An overall good experience.

Jun 02,2023I purchased gold from monument metals.com and a month later I still have not received the coin that was in stock at the time I bought it. I bought high though at the time I did not know that. They purposefully waited till the gold prices dropped to send me the coins. I bought these when i knew I would be home to pick them up. Now they will be arriving when i am not home. Do not buy from this company if you want your coins at the time of purchase and in a timely manner. I will no longer buy any gold from this company. I would buy from a more reputable one.

May 31,2023After ordering $ 100 FV 90% silver last week, the bag arrived today. I counted the coins (quarters) to be sure of the exact count and that none were post 1964 clad style. Both checked out perfectly. Thank you for the prompt, efficient and accurate sale. I also appreciate the return address from MM Machine Parts.

May 28,2023I have done a lot of research and shopping around and without a doubt Monument Metals has the most competitive pricing for just about every item they have in stock compared to other retailers. They may not have as large of a selection compared to a couple of the larger retailers; however they always beat their prices and I have never had any problems with any orders or shipping. They also provide discreet shipping.
