When I switched to Movega, I found their thorough and conscientious approach to the operation made up for their more expensive service. In this case, I found we paid for quality. The quick replies to emails, the detailed instructions, the customer service, the precise level of organisation, the punctuality of the driver, the quality of loading, the spot in prediction of arrival time - all was a first rate service.

Oct 16,2022We needed to move from the UK to Portugal in one week's time. Started quoting some services on Saturday, 24/09, and requested for further quotes on a website on Monday, 26/09. I got contacted by Movega on the very next morning, 27/09, and by the end of the day I had already digitally signed off a contract to transport all our belongs on the next Saturday, 01/10. The whole process was simple and straightforward. All I had to do is to provide the accurate list of our belongs (# of boxes and furniture) and confirm I had some simple docs for the driver to show at the EU border. The price was really competitive, specially considering the timeline I needed: leaving the UK in the Saturday morning and arriving into Portugal on the Monday afternoon. The drivers arrived on time to pick up and drop off, everything was handled very carefully and everybody behaved professionally and friendly. I was kept informed by phone for Movega dispatchers along the Saturday and Monday about the status and the ETA, which happened even earlier than expected. I have also been contacted by the Movega coordinator, Phillip, during the drop off as well as the day after, asking me about the conditions of our belongs. The whole experience was totally delightful and I highly recommend Movega to anybody needing international removals.

Oct 01,2022I found Movega removals after filling in a form online for my move. The quotes I received were wild, and Movega by far the most competitive. The entire process was transparent, open, and friendly. Shout out to Boris, whom I would trust with my life! This person was great to speak to, replied within minutes, had the patience of a saint and was probably the most competent person I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He made this move possible, and he made it comfortable for us. Boris listed all our options transparently on every call. He never interrupted me (while I probably interrupted him in my anxiety all the time), he never lost patience and he never tired of explaining the same questions to me. In the end Movega went the extra mile for us too. We booked a dedicated service, 20 cubic metres, 1000kg. Even though payments were due earlier, Movega let me do this much later and still allowing my early booking discount. We also booked help from our driver, and an extra helper on the receiving end. Both were wonderful people and did a great job! The entire move took less than 24 hours. We picked up on a Friday morning, we unloaded (in a different country) on Saturday afternoon. There was no damage to any of our goods. Movega handled all of the information required for crossing the borders and advised us on all necessary documents.

Suggestion for improvement: It would have been good if the truck came with some moving equipment (trolley...), It would have been very tricky if I had not brought my own at the last minute.
