I just received my parcel today and I have to say I’m quite disappointed. The quality of my items are terrible, the hello petals spiral toy on the bunny there’s a line of fur strip missing and it just looks odd. The quality of the personalised blanket is awful too it’s so rough especially for a newborn baby. I’m very disappointed. The quality does not match the price. I expected better quality not cheap rough materials especially considering it’s for babies! And for the price tag it is definitely not worth it.
The customer service is outstanding. Found this site while browsing for 1st grandchild teddy. So many beautiful items to chose from - and personalised too for reasonable prices. There was a slight problem when my order arrived but Melojean the customer service lady went above and beyond to resolve this issue. Couldnt wish for a better online shopping experience.

I ordered a personalised backpack for my Grandson who is starting nursery soon. When the item arrived the personalisation ( name) did not stand out as well as I had expected. I contacted customer service who offered to replace the item, changing the colour of the embroidery. The replacement was completed within a few days- exceptional customer service.
I loved my items from 1st Years however on the wooden push-a-long walker the personalised name was not central and there was a gap between some of the letters which made the product look cheap and no attention to detail. I emailed to complain and Aleksandra replied within minutes, apologised and reordered a new walker. Wow that's what I call amazing customer service! I have never known such good aftercare and 1st Years has the best Customer Service thanks to Aleksandra 😊

I am unable to comment on the quality of the item as I have not received it despite My1st Years and Evri saying I have! Firstly the next day delivery option was not met and then Evri are claiming the parcel has been delivered and they have a photo to prove this. Convenient how the photo was not sent to myself and My1stYears have opted to believe Evri. Customer Services suggest I contact the police for a crime number and then they can investigate - what a ridiculous suggestion. Report the loss of something I have not received. And then to top it all off they offer me my delivery charge back OR a £15 credit,neither of these options are anywhere near the amount I spent. I have never experienced customer service like this when I have had issues with non delivery of items from couriers previously. I will definitely not be using this company again especially when they opt to believe an inept courier like Evri above their customers
Usually when you receive a misprint on your order you would be unhappy and leave a 1 star review. I think the item wasn’t from 1st years directly but one of their partners. But Aleksandra provided excellent customer service. She answered emails almost instantly, she was quick and reordered my item with a priority shipping so it still arrived in time for my event and in perfect condition. I was really impressed with how efficient Aleksandra was so a massive thanks!!
I have just received my order of a Marty Rag Doll and I am absolutely thrilled with the doll. She is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully made and then the packaging is so lovely and great quality. If I could give more than 5 stars then I truly would. I purchased a beautiful backpack from My 1st Years in selfridges (waited 20 mins for personalisation) once collected I wasn’t happy with the product, however the selfridges sales assistant couldn’t correct my issue due to machine fault. I therefore contacted My 1st years directly to discuss my concerns and not only was my email responded back within 24 hours of sending, Aleksandra from the management team went above and beyond to ensure my satisfactory needs were met. Not only was she extremely polite, helpful and responsive she already had her team working on a new purchase to be shipped out to my home address within 24-48 hours! Like wow!! I honestly could not be happier, totally grateful for their understanding, fantastic service, and beautiful productivity. Truly a memorable gift for my first child. Recommended My 1st years to friends and family and would most certainly shop with them again.

I placed an order for a Giraffe Rocker for my nephew. Following delivery, we realised that the wooden handle was missing from one of the sides. I wanted to order a personalised gift for a new born using the 25% discount code. However, the discount was expiring in 2 days and the baby hadn’t been named yet. I emailed the company and very quickly received a response from Aleksandra advising me to put through the order with the discount (personalised but no name) and then email them to put the order on hold until the baby has been named. I’ve used my first years a few times and received gifts from others from the website. I absolutely love the products available and could spend so much money on all of the lovely items! I had a minor issue with a recent product ordered so contacted customer service, and Dorota got in touch with me promptly. She went above and beyond to rectify the issue in a very quick and professional manner; it’s rare to find customer service this good now a days. I wouldn’t hesitate to order more products (and I definitely will be doing in the future!), and I’m even more reassured by the outstanding customer service experience I have received from Dorota. Couldn’t recommend more.

Aug 09,2024Very unhappy after being recommended by friends and colleagues I placed an order for my son’s 2nd birthday and paid premium delivery. Item was dispatched and delivered next day via evri unfortunately the outer box showed damage and upon opening parcel the gift box was also damaged. I contacted my 1st years who dispatched another gift box to me, this also arrived via evri and guess what the gift box is damaged again. If you are using evri you need to improve your packaging skills sending a gift box in just another box is going to always result in damage. Contacted customer care again but they showed no remorse. Won’t shop here again.
