When Storm Isha caused the skylight window to fly off the roof just before office hours were about to finish for the day, I was worried that we would not get it fixed quickly. I called the office and within minutes Jack called back, got all the details and had roofers to the building within an hour. It was even more appreciated as I'm sure they would have been dealing with a lot of issues after the storm caused so much damage across Glasgow.
After going nowhere with the disgusting people from Lowther Homes, I decided to directly deal with Newton Management for a building repair. They were amazing! My repair request was taken seriously from the start, they contacted the correct contractor and followed up on the progress. They didn't waste time, they were nice and I'm super happy with the way they handled everything. THANK YOU!

I am a home owner of a flat this company is managing. From the past 5 years experience with them, I am assure that they do not care. Actions discussed on the committee meetings seem never have actually been actioned on. Just playing games with you all the time. Alert anyone who is selecting a factor company, avoid Newton at all cost.

Almost a year has lapsed since the review. Newton PR team formulated a nice response of cooperation and nonsense. Since then, no information has been provided and the estate continues to be blighted and overcharged for very little work with no value. The overspend appears to be on an admin team who are quick to raise invoices and lapsed timescale letters threatening legal action. Property manager is hopeless and the support team in their offices are reluctant to resolve issues.
Rob Armstrong and contractor MCP have been amazing at our development in Berkeley Street. They have resolved a very long standing leak which previous managers covered up and patched. Rob has been great throughout in updating us as well as just getting it sorted once and for all and MCP have done an amazing job which was clean and quality. Jordan was great at talking us through all the works and was available for any concerns and questions also the operatives on site - Paul, Stuart and others I forgot where polite and courteous to our property. Hopefully we see more repairs like this as MCP has been the best contractor we have had onsite in the time newton has factored us.

Absolute shambles of a company. I have now moved away from Glasgow Harbour because of them. Took them 2 months to reply to an important email, and that was just the start of it, emails were ignored and nothing is prioritised, but they are quick enough to send out their invoices which are a complete rip off. If you were seeing actual work done for what you are paying for it wouldn’t be so bad, but any work that is done is not up to standard with high costs involved. Avoid is my advice as they will take your money and do nothing.
We left our previous factor in November 2023 after 12 years. We joined with Newton Property Management in December 2023 and with the help of Sharon and Natalie monies due were transferred and they had us up and running in December 2023. Jack Moran has been appointed our Property Manager to look after the site. He will make site inspections on a regular basis which will maintain a high standard. A new gardener and cleaning company have been appointed and both are doing well. The garden area which was a problem with our previous factor is already taking shape. We are very happy with the service to date and are pleased to be associated with Newton.

Avoid at all costs. This company loves to ignore as many emails as possible, I suspect they have an internal competition on who can ignore more emails per day. I set up a DD 2 years ago, but they never changed the amount, I had no way to change it myself, I was expecting they were on top of it like the previous factor I had. I set it up so I didn’t had to worry, but I was so incredibly wrong. Last autumn (around October) they informed me I had a debit with them and automatically duplicated my DD. I asked what could be done to avoid such increase of DD, I got vague answers and they generally ignored my query. So I cancelled the DD and started paying monthly via their online system. They decided that it was not good enough, they wanted the full payment, and they sent me a final notice. I replied to the final notice and ask an up to date calculation and to reinstate the DD. That was the 11 of December. They successfully ignored all my 3 emails and today they sent me a letter saying that they “now require to consider sending my details to a third party collection agency”. I immediately made the full payment and sent a 4th email asking (I should start begging at this point) to reinstate the Direct Debit. I have no hope the DD will be reinstated, if I am lucky they will just ignore me but accept the payment, there is a possibility they will also ignore my payment at this point. If you are looking for a reliable factor, search elsewhere. They are not reliable nor professional.
Shocking service! We have been extremely dissatisfied with our team here in the highlands. Constantly chasing them for management they should be doing as their job and never getting results, no one ever gets back to you and it’s completely unacceptable.
