Bug with footprint(volumetric) charts not showing numbers at top of bars. Bought the platform(license) and realized after about 8-9 months of relentlessly trying to fix the problem through settings, tech support, etc. without success that it was actually a problem(bug) with the platform. Ninjatrader will not fix the problem and won't give me a refund. You cannot trade with Ninjatrader using the footprint(volumetric) charts. Would rate this company a zero if I could. All I want is a refund since you cannot trade with the platform using footprint(volumetric) charts.
I have been using ninja trader for over a year and have had many problems with the software. The service dept. has been horrible, takes forever for them to respond, making excuses for things that happen. At this point I am almost willing to forgo the $1200.00 I spent on the license and go to another broker. I can't even log in to see my account statements. The thing that really makes me mad is I reccomended them to a friend so he could do the "free simulation " trading, he opened an account at that time. He is just learning so he needed to do a lot of studying so has only done simulation but they are charging him a $25 inactivity charge even though they are advertising "free trading". It is a scam.

Hello traders. I have been with Ninja for a very long time and I have always had great service. Ninja's employees are very friendly and highly competent. Today I had a problem loading my charts. There was an intervention from "OneDrive" and my charts were no longer complete. I asked Ninja for help and got Mister Luis H from customer service on the phone via remote control. That man spent more than 45 minutes cleaning up my PC that no longer worked correctly due to a combination of circumstances. Talk about professionalism. Mister Luis H's know-how is excellent, he knows everything about Ninja Trader and works at the speed of light: many things have been moved, copied and processed in a different way and I have my original Ninja charts on the screen again. People like Mister Luis H have to be adored at Ninja Trader and I know they do. Ninja Trader can and should be proud to have people like Mister Luis H on board. As a customer it is nice to receive a service in a friendly and super professional way. I am very happy about that. Congratulations to Mister Luis H. Where to begin? Back in 2013, my broker suggested trying out Ninja, and I used it sporadically until it wasn’t available through them anymore. It’s a solid platform for third-party vendors utilizing various ATM strategies. One vendor insisted I buy a Ninja License Key to use their 3rd party software with Ninja, which I’ve been paying for separately a monthly fee for over three years now. The sales department and tech support have been great, though you do need to email for assistance. Lately, support has been quicker to respond. However, my interactions with the Trade Desk have been challenging. Their aggressive liquidation policy means even being slightly under margin can lead to fees and liquidation. While you get one pass, subsequent instances incur a $50.00 fee. It’s fair if you trade without stops, but trade agents can be overly aggressive. Things get interesting when you try to scale out of positions, as liquidation can occur unexpectedly. Last Wednesday was one of those days; the market gapped up while I was short. I was managing my position to avoid margin issues when I was zapped by Trade Desk a 1-2 seconds after I scaled out to be within margin! Yet they kept on liquidating me every time with a $50.00 fine ! It’s like it’s challenging enough to fight the market but you also have to watch out for your own broker?? As my patience wore thin, my account dwindled due to numerous $50.00 fees. I called to explain that I’m watching my positions and will not allow it to go negative, but didn’t want to liquidate all positions at ones by choosing to scale out as needed and twice they reversed the liquidation fees , but then continued to zap me even though I’ve explained to them that I’m watching please let me trade my own way. I was coached on how to trade , told to look for another broker , hung up on ! Great Business Model; needles to say this type of treatment was unexpected and made me angry and I let them know that. So they retaliated by locking my account indefinitely. Next day markets sold off being perm-a bear and anticipating a down day I was not allowed to make a trade ! I was prohibited from getting back the money lost previous day , that felt awful! I trade as much as 500 micro contracts daily, yet they restricted my account for review. Despite always being well-funded and in timely manner , I’ve asked for access to my regular broker, receiving mixed answers. The platform is excellent, but caution is needed with their brokerage. Currently, my account is locked, and I’m in the dark about the review process, despite my consistent contributions to their success. This whole retaliation program has taken its toll on me. So Beware. Follow up: Today I received an email from compliance that they are closing my account! They lost another good and loyal client!
For the last few days, I was so frustrated for not being able to figure out why the platform was not working. I was wondering if I keyed in the License key and connected the system properly. I sent an email to Ninja Trader Client Services. Ricky H. responded quickly, gave me proper instructions and offered a remote support session. Adrian with support was fantastic and saved me from punching my computer. I had a One Drive issue where it destroyed all my charts and made it impossible to log in. After reading online on what to do I decided I have no clue so Adrian was set up a remote fix, was super friendly and answered my questions and got me up and running. Very grateful

people here are complaining that ninjatrader price is manipulated insanef if you see the nasdaq price on any website or btc or anything the pricing are the same you are just idiotic who think trading and making money are easy
For the last 5 years I've been dissapointed in my purchase of Ninjatrader. My platform is always broken. It never works. Its always unreliable. I'm not getting my questions answered. Theres always never any way to make profit on any of their contracts (especially Bitcoin). Comissions are way too high even though I've paid for the highest tier of products. It seems like no one in the whole ninjatrader community has a working strategy that makes money, they're all just scams. I would not recommend NinjaTrader.
