I started trading with Ninja trader because they offered futures trading to South Africans. I’m very impressed with the software and the service. Not to mention the execution time of orders being filled given the fact that I’m on another continent. 10/10 very impressed.

From the moment I reached out to them with my question, I was impressed by their professionalism and dedication to helping me. The representative I spoke with, Markus Zielbauer , was extremely knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to listen to my concerns and provide clear and helpful answers. They also went above and beyond to find the solution to my concern. He was friendly, responsive, and proactive in keeping me informed of any updates or changes. I truly felt like they had my best interests at heart, and that my satisfaction was their top priority. To management, deciding to eliminate and change Machine ID, and password set up to connect to my data provider, go "0" Star rating. Adrian, of Remote Support, did a very good job Re-installing most of the features I had on the previous version. To him go 4 Star.

On Sunday, the Ninja Trader Desktop application would not connect to Interactive Broker due to a change in the IB connection. NT was notified of the issue since it prevents any trading with IB. In over two days their only response is "our development team is investigating", with no ETA.. Now, it turns out they knew of this issue over a month ago... So find another solution since support is non-existent

Estoy más que decepcionado con Ninjatrader. Acaban de crear la versión 8.1 y es un desastre pues da muchos problemas. Además no responden a las preguntas / consultas. Yo compré la licencia de por vida, estaba operando en modo simulación y ya hace tres días que no me funciona bien.

I have to say my support person made the learning experience very easy to understand I love her energy wish I could get her as support all the time.
Really disappointed. I was under the impression I would be paper-trading with real time data. Live data and real time data are not the same thing, apparently. There is no phone support (except for emergencies); you have to email them and then it takes forever to get a response, if you're lucky. A broker will be all over you to help you and then once your account is set up and you've made your deposit, he ghosts you. You can try the forum and maybe a fellow trader will chime in. The playback feature doesn't work properly and I can't seem to get any response on how to solve the problem. I have been trying for the past two weeks just to set up a system to practice trading and all I've encountered are road blocks and glitches. The experience feels predatory. ***this portion is in response to their response to this review that I send an email to support - I've already done that; it's the lack of response from the email address they provided below that has triggered this angry response from me. Take note, they do not provide a phone number to call. That means, if their response to me doesn't solve the problem, I have to send them another email explaining and then wait.....
Zachary S. from NinjaTrader Client Services deserves to be Employee of the Year!!!! Recently I had a series of administrative issues that I had to deal with pertaining to my NinjaTrader account, and my Form 1099, etc., etc. Essentially I was one of "those customers" who needed lots of attention! Well, Zachary S. was extremely attentive and followed my case and ensured with the internal NinjaTrader Team that all my "issues" were resolved. Zachary's attention to detail and follow through made me feel like I was a "VIP" at NinjaTrader. All my issues were timely and adequately addressed by Zachary, for which I am extremely grateful!!!!

May 20,2023I agree with Andy Taylor, Ninja Traders charting is not user friendly unless you memorize a ton of hot keys which then makes it okay at best. The chart is a pain in the butt. I just want to click and drag the whole chart. Doesn't have VWAP as a basic free indicator. I think they tried to do too much which takes away from the experience. Think or Swim is soo much more user friendly and simplistic. I may switch funded trader companies just to get away from Ninja Trader.
