Aug 08,2024Fabulous villa location on top of a high hill with all round views across the costa brava. Really needs some shade on the terrace to make this very special and needs to supply clients with the basics essential ingredients to get started in the kitchen, but otherwise this is a very special (though not luxury) place with a hilly driveway not for the fainthearted.

Aug 08,2024Aythami was excellent in providing pre-arrival support for our villa in Slovenia through ensuring a cot and bed guards will be provided by the owner for our 5 and 3 year old daughters. Aythami was friendly, professional, very responsive and took personal responsibility to solve the issue.

The few times I got in touch by phone, your team were always courteous & professional - full marks to them! Madeira Belo was a fabulous house, stunning location. Welcomed by the owners Jose & Amelia who were charming and very helpful.

Aug 07,2024Responses to emails were very slow and unhelpful. I can only assume that nobody had been to the property. For the level of rental, we should have had access to all the information we asked for but this was not the case. In reality, very little help was provided that was of any use. Even the name of the property was incorrect.

Aug 07,2024The booking process was seamless. The apartment views were spectacular. The owner and the housekeeper made us feel very welcome. The villa was great but needs updating. Some petty frustrations (dishwasher too small for a 5 bedroom apartment, only one set of keys) but the only real downer was the noisy road which was mentioned but we hadn’t appreciated how close it was to the relaxation spot for sun loungers.

Aug 06,2024The customer service and communication from Olivers Travels was poor and misleading from the outset. Having tried to book a Villa for summer 2025 and been provided with a quote for this on the website, I was contacted shortly afterwards to say the booking had been cancelled as 2025 prices had not been confirmed. This should have been indicated clearly on the website that 2025 prices had yet to be confirmed, as other travel agents do. Once Olivers travels contacted the owner and confirmed a new and much higher price I was offered a rate between the old advertised and new price which I appreciated and accepted to confirm the booking. The following day I was told someone else had booked the villa at full higher price and so it was no longer available. Olivers did not honour the booking we had tried to make days before any other booking had been made due to their own mis-advertising of prices. Overall this has been an extremely disappointing experience to try and book a family holiday and I would have expected much more from this company based on the prices they charge for villas. I will not be using them again.

Aug 08,2024I got what I paid for, which isn't always the case. The villa was superbly located, very comfortable and with great amenities. The daily cleaning and local management support was excellent.
