May 08,2024I have recently returned from a wonderful stay at Wood Hall, Derwent Garden Estate. I chose this glorious house for a weekend away with some of my closest friends, May Bank Holiday being a traditional get together for us all for the past 20 consecutive years! The sumptuous house and beautiful gardens did not disappoint and provided a brilliant setting for this precious celebration of enduring friendship in a fabulous British setting. Tessa and her team were marvellous and were on hand throughout for anything we needed and oriented us when we arrived and on departure. The view from the orangery and the balcony are quite simply spectacular. Thank you to the Wood Hall team for making a special weekend even more special for us. Would highly recommend

May 08,2024I sent a email on a Bank Holiday Sunday and received a reply the same day from Daryl, which is exceptional service. It was a great help in my planning of a family event, and the extra information about an event at the property further aided my planning. I had not expected to be able to confirm property availability during a public holiday. A confirmatory phone call the next working day, handled by Anette, was also very professional.

May 07,2024The villa and the pool were beautiful, it’s well situated for transport to the sea. Also close to many restaurant and big supermarket is 5 minutes of walking. There is everything you need in the house and owner is very nice.

May 02,2024I celebrated my 80th birthday at Chateau Le Chereau in April 2024 and spent four enjoyable days there with 18 guests coming from Poland, England and France. Chateau Le Chereau is a sprawling beautiful estate with an old, tastefully decorated manor house and two spacious buildings that include a big reception hall, a billiard room, a separate kitchen and three additional bedrooms. The gardens, tennis court and the lake offered a stunning background for outdoor games, walks, picnics, and even an open-air concert. The site manager, Alec de La Barre, provided us with plans, photographs and a lot of information about the site, and patiently dealt with our detailed enquires before the visit. Through his recommendation we contacted a local house chef, Claire Laborde, who delivered a delicious meal on our arrival and, catering for various dietary needs, she offered a choice of menu for the beautifully presented, celebratory dinner. We felt really and truly at home – very private, but also very well looked after. All in all, the choice of Chateau Le Chereau as a venue for a family reunion proved to be exceptionally successful and we got back home with many unforgettable memories. Highly recommended.

Apr 30,2024A well appointed apartment in a great location easy access to the airport and the station, and very handy for getting around Nice. Maybe a little noisy in the summer months at night when you need open windows. But overall a very happy stay. We had a problem with a blocked toilet, a quick phone call, and the agent sent a person to fix within 30 mins, excellent service

Chiara from Customer Experience Team rang me explain that the pool heating we had enquired about was not necessary at that time of year. She also managed to assist in my query about the damage deposit and lease with the owner to resolve the issue. Excellent customer service.

May 09,2024Amazing! Charles-Henri was an incredible host. We had a language barrier which he helped with as well as booking for local restaurants for such a big group. The location was an experience which we all enjoyed as well as the added continental breakfast. Would 100% recommend. The Oliver's Travels staff were also incredibly helpful for the lead up to the stay and cannot thank them enough!
