I had an issue with the battery that starts the Vehicle, Akeel from repairs Was very reassuring that it would get seen to asap, within minutes i received a call from “Recovery Mark” who gave me an ETA, Mark arrived before the given ETA and was very professional and helpful with matters regarding the car, Even when the car was back on the road Mark called me to ask how was everything going with the car and offered more advice, I must say the Level and professionalism and advice that “Recovery Mark” and Akeel produced was 10/10 and I was very thankful, I’d like to thank them both once again for being swift and reassuring in rectifying the issue!
Crap company crap people crap policy crap system pls read all reviews before you go to Otto my advice is stay away from Otto at all cost!!!!!

The whole experience was straightforward and stress free.
I unfortunately had a disagreement with one of the Mercedes franchise regarding a call out charge. But thanks to Otto ( especially Sharon B, a senior credit controller manager) everything was sorted. Thank you very much for your excellence ! Luiz R.

I’m really happy that just only three days. Little disappointing my car don’t have a wireless charger
so far it is the best car rental company I have met, I always deal with Marco in Dulwich, he is a very friendly person, thank you all from Otto car.
I have been with Ottocar for a while and so far all I have experienced from Ottocar family is extremely helpful, be on my side to guide me in every step where ever I got stuck, the service team, PCN team or my account handler are always there which made me feel positive & pen down my thoughts about ottocar. I got a rent2buy from ottocar and it’s 2019 numbers plate i got this car in February 2022 and after less than a year i noticed my driver side doors(front and back) are starting rusted because tart leaking through inside of my door and i didn’t have any accident or damage on the car, and i took the car to otto in June and they said bring the car in October which is close to your PHV license time and wi will fix it, in October i went to otto car and they said we don’t remember such a this thing and you should pay for it, actually they made a fake promise, i don’t understand how come a 2019 number plate car get rusted, i believe this car had an accident before and they didn’t fix it properly.

Hi there I can not believe what company Otto car has turned into ,to start with ! When I got my first Otto car ,you guys were doing trades out of a steel container,now you are a multimillion company and have no respect for the drivers ! During the 5 years (4th of which,rent to buy )I have never missed a single payment ,not even an pcn for you guys to deal with ! Two weeks today ,I had a non fault accident ,I be been booked 11 days from the accident,just to be seen ! I have been put out of work since ,even that the third party insurance offered a courtesy car and repairs . While Otto is making money out of my back ,I’m sitting at home,out of my mom’s pension ,without child benefits money ! All what I hear over the phone, are robots,instructed by Otto ,repeating themselves,not dealing with the issue. Please let me know if or when I have my car back ,I don’t wanna go and pay for any of your appointments! The accident was reported ,third party accepted liability,all what you do is nonsense witch cost me money while Otto is making money out of me ! It’s a shame that after I’ve payed double for my car (3weeks left on contract)you are offering this type of service! Not to mention that even after canceling the Phv appointment,Otto still trying on every single day to take £84 out of my bank account (I guess is a fine !)

Dec 08,2023I picked up my BRAND NEW Kia sportage 5/12/23 and it was a very smooth process with the guys from Ilford branch. Unfortunately on my 2nd day of driving had issues with the car. Sent messages but for some ‘weird’ reason no one gets back to me. Even today left a message for priyanka to get back to me and never also Henny from service never bothered to put my payments on freeze also emailed him to confirm back to me Obviously he didn’t get back to me. It’s like management don’t know how to get back to people with a simple update. I now have a car on my drive that isn’t drivable which has only 200miles. …It’s like no one knows how to forward queries to the right departments…
