Have worked with Ottocar for over a year now (since April 23). Very professional and have dedicated members of staff such as Ruth from payments who goes above and beyond to assist you in anyway she can and Jahsiah from the sales team. The reception was great, all my questions were answered as expected. The reason I’m giving low rating is because I didn’t really like the condition of the vehicle when handed to me. The interior was unclean, bad smell. It was my first time to rent vehicle with Otto Car, and I was disappointed.
Ottocar Uk Disgust DisgustDisgust my people. I ve gave them the car back in october2023. In February 2024 I received a Pcn, red route contravention offense occurred in Feb 2024 that prove that they gave the car to someone else but they did not update their own data system. Every month since I ve called them to remind them to fix the PCN themselves. Nothing. June 2024. Tfl is now sending me enforcement officers to my house. Ottocar is telling me to wait for them so I can prove them wrong. Your call will be recorded. You guys are not serious at all. but it is not your fault, the company is not even tell me it will pay for the PCN, lovely when u sit behind the desk u robocops ain'tit? People get their dress clean u put the dirt on them. Now I need to declare all that s*it to tfl, credit score and dbs congratulations u just put another dad in the british drama. Well done. U disgusted my all people. So please keep ur favor. Judge me
Very helpful staff and good customer service
On March 2024, my car was hit by someone who fled the scene. I contacted Otto car company and they assured me that they would provide the footage of the incident. However, on the day of my investigation, they informed me that they had forgotten to download the footage. As a result, I had to pay £1000 to repair the small scratch on the car's fender. I will post pictures of the damage for everyone to see. Additionally, today (27/06/24), someone broke into my car and stole the dashcam that was installed by Otto car. When I reported this to Otto, they charged me £300 for the dashcam. This experience has led me to question the usefulness of the insurance provided by Otto. I have decided to return my car to Otto and rent from another company. This has been a disappointing experience, and I feel that the fine print in the contracts is designed to take advantage of hardworking drivers. BEWARE!
