Went to Paul Davies for a quick look at kitchens,booked appointment for the following week with Karen,she was extremely helpful in planning our new kitchen, showing us the best options.Martin came out to measure within a few days and again was very helpful.We chose a lovely new kitchen along with all Blomberg appliances,absolutely no pressure or hard selling,installation was within a few weeks to suit us.Whole kitchen and appliances arrived on the Monday morning at 7am along with the three fitters Ian,Kev and Matt,a very professional friendly and trustworthy trio. Extremely happy with the whole experience from start to finish.Thankyou Paul Davies kitchens and appliances.

The item I wanted at a very competitive price. In stock, easy online ordering and billing process, delivery on a date of my choice not restricted. Very competitive delivery charges compared to other companies I looked at. For all of these reasons I would highly recommend and definitely order from again.

The AEG washing machine was delivered by “Paul Davies Couriers – Specialist Appliance delivery” on Tuesday having been ordered a week the previous Monday. The couriers were apparently only instructed to drop on the doorstep at do not fit appliances. They claim to have no knowledge of such things. The machine was correctly installed by me however it immediately displayed an error message and would not work. A call to AEG Service Centre suggested a process to clear but despite repeated attempts, the error continued to be displayed and the machine would not function on any program. I contacted Paul Davies however they refused to accept a return without an engineer being called. I refused as I wanted a new machine that worked out of the box and not a broken/repaired machine. The fault was most likely a stuck, flood detection float switch. Paul Davies eventually agreed but threatened to charge £140 for the return and examination by an engineer if the machine was not faulty. “Paul Davies Couriers – Specialist Appliance delivery” were arranged for the following day and they arrived on time. The two men, remember they are specialist appliance couriers, did not have a trolley, and attempted to manhandle the machine to their van. They foolishly, in my opinion, tilted the machine forwards to lift it, however, it dropped, facedown, onto our solid stone, flagged floor. They also rested the machine, face down, onto the gravel drive as they opened their van doors. The machine was then damaged, making any reasonable repair or indeed examination unviable. On reporting the details and the production of before and after collection photos, and a PayPal dispute case being opened, Paul Davies reluctantly issued a full refund. Their “Paul Davies Couriers – Specialist Appliance delivery” company is actually SGK Distribution and on seeing how they performed I would be surprised if any appliance delivered by them worked. Shocking.

So disappointed on our latest visit, not the service myself and family have ever had before. Was going with Paul Davies for kitchen and had a great service with survey and design but that’s where it ended. I was genuinely impressed and was 100% going with them over and above Wren etc even down to having my bank agree my loan. I chased up twice for an updated price and my partner went into store to be told designer on holiday and will be in touch. That was weeks ago. Maybe not spending enough to be worth the hassle but is a lot of money to me ? To Gemma Thank you for your response it’s much appreciated however please ensure you have facts before responding. The pricing was promised me 2 weeks before the holiday. I called from a contact centre and have full details of call records which I am allowed to review, are you ?. My partner called into your store room, so will be on CCTV. I have waited over a month and only managed to get a response from you by putting MY HONEST experience with my latest visit. Thanks

After 20+ years my faithful Miele washer decided to call it a day, decided to check online for a replacement [miele wed 325 wcs 8kg]. After checking all my options on price,delivery and installation, and recycling my old appliance Paul Davies ticked all the boxes.Ordered on Saturday and being fairly local was able to be offered a Monday am delivery .Thanks to the delivery men my old appliance was removed and my new purchase was installed and connected and order was restored.My recent experience and dealings with Paul Davies were stressless and curteous and I would recommend them. now were's the instruction booklet.

We've had an up and down experience with Paul Davies since we designed our kitchen at the start of the year but with the recent poor customer service I don't think I'd recommend them and/or use them again. We came for an initial consultation at the beginning of the year and completely designed a new kitchen after moving into a 1920s house so a lot of work was needed. Our advisor was called Tony and he was extremely helpful. As a lot of work needed doing to our kitchen (new plastering, new electrics) we contacted Tony a few weeks before our kitchen was due to be fitted (beginning of march) and pushed it back until the end of March. We also booked a follow up appointment to confirm the final details. During this appointment we also decided to add on the flooring that the company provide and we requested that our paperwork was updated and compound put on our kitchen floor to level it out. A week before two tradesmen contacted myself to arrange removing the kitchen as discussed - they arrived promptly and were really helpful. The electrician also contacted to say he'd be coming to fit the new sockets. Unfortunately, the plumber (who was removing our radiators and disconnecting our hob) did not contact me and when I contacted him to confirm him coming (this date had been agreed with Tony and Martin) he told me he couldn't make that date. This was a little frustrating as I'd taken the day off work, but we managed to work around him coming a few days later. Then we got our kitchen fitted, again they arrived promptly to start the work and made excellent progress. My partner was home and he asked about leveling the floor as it was clearly dipped in the middle and he was met with the response 'well we've done it to the best of our ability' this was quite disappointing as we'd ask for the floor to be levelled and it clearly hadn't been done, there was also a scuff on one corner edges of the sides and the door handles on the cupboards had been put on off centre. These things were pointed out and they were rectified (despite the floor and one cupboard handle which is still off centre) We were still unhappy with the floor but were told by the contractors and Gemma (senior member of staff, possible owner) to wait a week for it to settle and were reassured to get back in touch if it hadn't resolved. 10 days later, the floor was still flexing so I called the store and spoke to Gemma, I also informed her another tradesmen had been to do some work in our hallway and he pointed out that the floor in the kitchen needing resolving and that it wouldn't just need to settle. Gemma said she'd call me back that day however I didn't receive a call. I followed up the following day to check in with her and she apologised and said they were really busy on the Monday but would call me later that day. Again, a day or so later we had no contact so my partner tried to call and was told Gemma was unavailable (this was around 12:30pm) and she'd call us back straight away. Later that afternoon around 3pm we'd heard nothing and were both feeling really disappointed and quite upset so my dad offered to phone to try and get some clarity on the situation. My dad ended up calling me back after speaking with Gemma and said a lot of things I had said we're being disputed and Gemma had told him she'd kept me informed every step of the way which wasn't true. It was then agreed my partner would call Gemma and arrange a time for our floor to be sorted. He spoke to her and agreed to call her on the following Tuesday - 19th April to arrange for the work to be done after the bank holiday weekend. On the 19th he called, Gemma was unavailable and did not return his call but he did receive a call from the contractor staying if we speak with him direct he'll get it sorted. We are now on the 17th of may and my partner has either text or called the contractor direct and we still don't have a date on when the floor is being done, and he's now not returning messages. In all honesty, I'm extremely disappointed as the kitchen would have been lovely despite all the errors but the poor customer services and consistent fobbing us off has been frustrating. We're now at a point that we don't know what to do as the work was started almost two months ago. We've had several dates from the contractors saying they'll come (the last date being first thing today 27.05 and they still haven't arrived) We have been speaking with other services to seek support in getting our issues rectified and we have been recommended to go via the small claims court due to work not being done sufficiently. At this stage, we feel this is the only option we have to get the work done and this has made a stressful situation a million times worse. I will be contacting the CAB to look at actioning a small claims court claim. Update: we haven't been told they are coming next week

Lowest price on web. Goods in stock as stated on website, unlike many companies who list goods as in stock and then email to say they are not and there will be an indeterminate delay. Goods delivered on time, with 2 hour delivery window provided by courier. Would definitely buy from Paul Davies again.
