Paul Davies was the only place in the UK I could find the dishwasher we needed available. I was a bit nervous ordering from London but they were really helpful by phone and email (esp. Gemma) and promised I'd get the dishwasher today ready for a kitchen installation. Sure enough, it turned up and I got messages telling me when it was arriving. I haven't opened the Bosch packaging but looks good. I would definitely use again.
Telephoned to check product was in stock. Online to order, which was straightforward. Booked delivery day and time slot. Product delivered on time and placed where required. Excellent service.
Intially delivery cost issue but sorted quickly. UPDATE: Quick response, tactfully checked accuracy of info and was understanding, knocked cost of courier to more acceptable amount. No quibbles. Friendly and polite. Apologetic and solution focused in a tangible way. Brilliant! What was very noticeable and commendable was they didn't ask to change my initial 1 star review in anyway. Updated review according to my reviewed experience and because I think it's well deserved. I'll try and further update once I receive item.
Ordered a new Neff microwave had great service and due for delivery within 3 days
Ordered a Dishwasher which was delivered just days after. Paid for delivery, installing the new Dishwasher and taking away my old appliance. Well worth paying for as they disconnected the old one and took it away and fitted the new one. All the packaging was also taken away. Not as easy as it sounds disconnecting the old one and fitting the replacement, as the space they where working in was cramped and very awkward, but everything was accomplished with the minimum of fuss and very friendly and helpful. The new machine is great! Would recommend this firm very highly!

From what I have experienced: UNHELPFUL NO CUSTOMER SERVICE DEl BOY ! attitude towards buying customers and that is when you are trying to give them money, I'd hate to see what you will get if your items have a issue. Gemma has very poor customer skills and has also changed original price by £200 on an item, resulting me paying for workmen an extra day's rate as I'm having to now look to purchase from a reputable company. I was refused to get contact details to complain and her email response was very child like, I will post on line and copy a link shortly. I would defiantly give them a wide berth as if this is the service when you are spend a large amount of money, good luck if you have any issues. I'm looking to take this forward and will post updates as I get them. Shame as I wanted to support independents but it in this case pays to go to a trusted company that have better customer care and prices I've found. UPDATE: REPLY 2 Hrs ago "I have reread the emails and I'm afraid you were looking at a third party website for a price that was not ours and wanted us to price match a non existant price, we cannot do this I'm afraid as we would not make any money on the order, you were never given a price by ourselves and when you were given a price you did not want to pay this, we cannot change a price just because you want us to, I do apologise if we could of done the price you wanted we would do". First of all the refusal too give head office or MD's contact is not addressed, this must be because it's a common practise that customers want to complain. The reply is again incorrect as I did give the price on my original email (so could not have looked at it before replying) and I received a reply saying no further discount could be given on the item, NOT that the price was incorrect. Should I had been told that the price was incorrect and given the right price at the time it would have not wasted my time and cost me financially. I will post a blog on this debar-cal and you all can see my full review and all correspondence. I have to agree with some other reviews and that there maybe truth in some accusations that some of the reviews may not be all what they seem. BE WELL INFORMED BEFORE YOU USE THIS COMPANY. Then if you want to still proceed I would have everything in writing and use a credit card to get extra protection should you need it. I would go far as to recording any dealings as the truth is dined and this would save you a lot of trouble in the long run. I put my order in less than 48hours ago and have received my item already. Communication was excellent throughout and time slot was accurate. Very courteous delivery driver. Item not fitted yet, but all good so far.
My fridge freezer was booked for delivery on Tuesday 12th January plus paid to have my old appliance taken away . However I got phone call on Monday 10th January to inform me that a driver was off due to covid so the delivery would be Wednesday 12th January to which I replied I would be at work in the afternoon so she said would book an am delivery to accommodate. I rang on Wednesday morning just to confirm and a lady said she would ring the driver and check the approximate time of delivery and if she didn’t ring me back it meant they’d be with me soon . She didn’t ring back so I waited an hour and half and rang again and a guy answered saying he would check where driver was and then told me it was down for delivery between 1 pm and 3 pm so then had to get someone who was luckily available to be at my house so not much communication. I understand things can change but if I’d been told that when I first rang it would of saved lot of stress . Plus I had a mirror broke in the process 🙄
First class service. I ordered a Miele washing machine on a Tuesday morning that was priced at £135 less than John Lewis. The staff at Paul Davies were very helpful and courteous. The washing machine was delivered at 7.45am two days later!!....and no delivery charge. I will be using this company again.
Delivered my sons hotpoint fridge by 9.30am, so I didn’t have a long wait. The two delivery men were very efficient and courteous, after delivering to a first floor flat. I shall recommend this company for speed of delivery and prices. Thanks you. Lynn Sudworth

Ordered a cooker on Monday it came Wednesday morning and the two lads who delivered were great, and the guy who phoned on Tuesday was really friendly and courteous. Overall a great experience all round would definitely recommend!! Ps the cooker is now in we have used it and it looks superb!! Can't thank everyone enough!!.
A brilliant customer service experience. My questions were responded to in a timely manner and with clear direction. The follow up service since my order placement has been excellent. Great service and value as always from Paul Davies. Nothing too much trouble, warehouse guy even helped get my appliance in the car in the pouring rain even though he’d finished work and was on his way home. Dealt with this company for years, always first class.
Not used them before. Item was in stock, at a good price and was ready to be picked up. Could not ask for more. It was also good to visit their impressive showroom.

Jan 28,2022Ordering on website was easy enough, and prices were very competitive with other retailers, problem was with delivery. Received txt to say delivery would be 1 day earlier than expected …… after taking time off work and no delivery, I called the office to be told the txt was sent in error and my delivery was as previously arranged so had to take another day off work. No timescale for the delivery, and it arrived just as I was about to go out. Delivery driver was apologetic and said a text should have been sent an hour before but no message was received. So marked down on delivery communication.
