Ordered an AEG Induction Hob that was £200 cheaper than other sites (John Lewis/AO) - Customer Services arranged delivery to my Scotland address and it was delivered within 5 days, well packaged and protected. First class service.

The worst customer service I ever received, do not fooled by 5 stars reviews!! they are fake! Read the one star reviews! This branch staffs are extremely rude and ignorant! I couldn’t believe what I was experiencing, it’s like purchasing a goods from a dodgy dealer !! Very backward and rude. We bought a gas cooker from this shop, they have sent one with a massive dent on the side and no electric wire! When their delivery staff called the shop to report the issue, the staff that sold the cooker to us fe days before, refused to help or provide any other solution! Their delivery staff tried to detached the gas pipe from the old cooker to use for the new one and he damaged the old cooker and it was no good for use anymore. The rude attitude of Paul Davis Bolton branch staff (Nicky orVicky) made me very upset and push me to the edge! I started to have a verbal contact with her . She had promised the cooker is not damaged when we bought it. She said it’s not her problem, she never said it not damaged and she can’t reduced the original price! she didn’t try to provide any other alternatives even after their delivery staff damaged our old cooker and we were without any cooker! I told her, I will write my experience online and she said “ok go ahead” ! It was awful experience! And I was hopeless! Long story short when they made me so angry and upset then they called the police and told to the police that I was threatening towards them! Police came to the shop we get the refund and left, but no damaged paid for our old cooker! and police was called for us! You read this experience and judge yourself! I share my experience here to inform others about the Paul Davis costumer service and costumer care in Bolton branch . RESPONSE TO OWNER RESPONSE: When I told to your staff that I am going to write a review; your staff attitude was like “tough go ahead!” But your responding to my review in matter of 2 hours posted online is rider interesting! Your response to my review is full of lies, twisting scenarios and misinformation, you know your job very well and you has been practicing! you are a shameless conman trader who has no shame and who is extraordinary unethical!! Actually, your response clearly shows, this is not a first time that you are doing this as and getting away with it, SHAME ON YOU. My only power is to share my experiences with others and informing them about you. Just have a look and see how many complain /review is here about rude customer service and bad services ! You are using and abusing the system, the police force especially at the current climate! (like Crying Wolf) . By adding a complement for the police at the end you response, you are not fooling no one you are been flatterer! the question is; are the police works as a Paul Davis complain department/customer service!? or you are using the police force in this way? you are embarrassing yourself! You called the police and lied about the situation in order to get away! (Crying Wolf! ) You are a shameless! I was with my mum in your shop! For your information the police personnel that I have spoken to, didn’t even ask my name! also i need to add here that the taxpayers will be very happy to see how a dodge business like yours using and abusing the police force! Very unethical and backward! Anyway, the story is here for the costumers to read and judge themselves.

They are only interested in sales. I bought a Smeg dishwasher from them on the 1st of December and by the 27th it had broken down. I contacted them for help and was told to contact the manufacturer. Totally uninterested in my problem or trying to help. Smeg representatives are on holiday until the 4th of January so I am left without a dishwasher for days. Will not buy from them again, absolutely no after sales service.

When you have a freezer rammed full of food that dies and you are in panic mode knowing there’s a company out there to help Is wonderful . Paul Davies came to my rescue today - first class service . Within 6 hours of me ringing them , a new freezer had been delivered . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will now go straight to them when I next need any appliance . From the really helpful receptionist to the great driver they really are amazing - thank you so much !

First class service from Paul Davies right from walking through the door right up until we bought our induction hob. Our sales gentleman was so knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for us. He provided us with all the information we required plus more. Such a vast selection of appliances to chose from in a Covid safe environment. Prices were excellent. All the very best to all the staff at the company for Christmas and to 2021. John & Janice. Bolton.

Bought a kitchen from Paul Davies and had it fitted by their kitchen fitter.I have spent £5165 on 11 kitchen cupboards, glossy doors and handles and £1135 on their kitchen fitter to fit my kitchen.The staff in the kitchen area has never returned my phone calls after I paid the instalment before the kitchen was fitted.Every time I rang I was told someone would call me back or come out which was not the case.I had to make several phone calls to get an answer.Not a great customer service !!! I am very disappointed with the quality of the kitchen and the workmanship received. I have taken all pictures of faults and e mailed them to the company to correct it. They were very slow to respond -had to ring them back twice again as there was nobody to speak to.There was 38 issues to sort out following the installation of my kitchen which took longer than planned -took 3 working days and is still not completed after 5 working days.The fitter was very messy and has left the house, garden and surrounding areas very dirty.The packaging and all rubbish from the kitchen fitting was left outside my house for days and I had to ring the company to have it collected.The faults with my kitchen are as follow- big chips in the kitchen carcasses around screws in several cupboards, chips on 3 kitchen door corners, unnecessary big holes drilled on inside of 2 door panels and shelves,scratches on glossy doors and surrounding panels and cornice, big gap between a boiler cabinet side panel and wall filled with cardboard and rectified with silicone over the cardboard, chips in end glossy panel around the floor- rectified by silicone on my kitchen tiles , uneven chipped and very large cuts in back panels of 2 cabinets to accommodate plumbing. I have rang the company to rectify all 38 faults and been told that someone would come out to sort it.The kitchen fitter has come back on day 5 and has replaced 4 door cabinets and 1 drawer front, siliconed around chipped end panel and siliconed my floor tiles, siliconed around chipped edges of all screws and than put cheep white stickers to hide the rest of chipped areas of the cupboards.While correcting all his mistakes he scratched another part of cornice and chipped another corner cabined around another screw.Told me that the kitchen doors, cupboards and cornice are so cheap that he can not cut them or install them without scratching them or chipping the edges of screws and the end panel. Would I recommend Paul Davies to anyone ??Absolutely not! Would I like the kitchen fitter to come back and chip away more of my cheap units, doors and cornices? Absolutely not.Was the kitchen and the experience dealing with Paul Davies worth £6300 ? Absolutely not!!!! jb

Ordered a freezer beginning of August and had option to select delivery date, so I chose beginning of September. After payment taken, email said they couldn't deliver on suggested date. So I rang company to ask when a suitable date would be and was told they could actually deliver on that date after all. On delivery day they didn't turn up! Rang and asked what happened (bearing in mind they had not contacted me with any update) and they said it wouldn't be available until the New Year. No way was I waiting that long, esp as other suppliers had in stock. My gripe is that I wasn't kept informed - blamed it on Covid but other suppliers had it in. Anyway got a refund and bought elsewhere and £40 cheaper too. Wouldn't use this company again because of lack of update on order.

Ordered a dryer on the Monday night and was delivered promptly on the Thursday morning. I ordered online due to the current Covid situation but I have been in the store before and found everyone very helpful and polite. Delivery was excellent, phone call to advise they were on the way and the guys were brilliant, nothing was to much trouble, even took the packaging away! A welcome breath of fresh air compared to some deliveries I've had. Prices are competitive too. Will be my first point of call for my next appliance for sure.

Never heard of this company but was searching for a good deal on an American Fridge Freezer, the name came up on price runner, so I did a little research and found good reviews, apart from the fact they were £200 cheaper than a company I have used before and £100 than one of our best used companies, The best customer service I have come across in a very long time, 10 out of 10 and delivered by a local company Sandy Craig and Sons, altogether a great experience.

We ordered a fitted kitchen with appliances. The sales were exceptional with their expertise and advice. Due to the current covid situation we had to am end our appliance order but the fit and finish were great although like most tradesmen they needed a brush. I would definitely recommend the firm. Ask for Martin when ordering a kitchen he is so helpful.

We found Gemma really helpful and friendly delivery was quick the oven looks good and works a treat only criticism was the plug was missing but we soon put it right

Extremely helpfull staff even though I made my final decision,on purchasing my fridge freezer, by telephone, I was extremely impressed, when visiting the showroom, on the safety measures implemented, during this very stressful, ‘pandemic’ period in time, I felt very safe and comfortable, by the measures taken, the gloves provided are a great idea which I have never encountered anywhere else, Well done!

Terrible customer service. Was greeted at the door by “Paul” who seemed put out that I wanted to buy something. As I’d asked for a price match through their website I was pointed in the direction of THE most unhelpful, rude lady. She found the item in stock and I showed her the website with the lower price and she just said no. I said you won’t price match it and she said no, it’s probably not in stock. I said it was and I could order it now and she looked at me like I was an idiot and said it’s probably not and I could leave through the conservatory. I was amazed and appalled at her attitude. I went home and ordered £1500 worth of goods (which were in stock by the way) and they are being delivered tomorrow at 8am. The price match would have cost £39. I see you have been going for 30 years - unfortunately you need to update your attitudes. Have bought from here loads of times - will never return.

Originally ordered an integrated fridge - freezer only to learn a few days later that the model I wanted was not available. During my conversation with Gemma I commented that I was not really surprised as I had been having difficulty getting all the appliances for the kitchen in the house that I am refurbishing! Gemma asked me- apart from the fridge-freezer - what was still needed? Within a day she had located the exact model of dishwasher that I wanted - arranged a refund on the difference in price between that & the F/F & the said dishwasher was delivered today! All the above took less than a week! Thank you Paul Davis (and Gemma) will not hesitate in using your Company in the future.
