Goggle could not get my local landline number changed, not even after I paid to have it moved to a prepaid cell number. PhonePower did it with no problems. The free 100 minutes of free international calling is great. I was in japan and found that contrary to what Verizon had told me, my S5 was not comparable with a Japanese sim card. I used the Phonepower app and hotspots to call make local calls in Japan by making internet calls from my home number. i have been with them over a year and the service has been exceptional. Using with OBI.
Horrible experience. You constantly have to check their charges as irregularities "might happen" and you seriously have to discuss what shows in your contract. Then I moved to a different contract and they continue charging me for the old - with higher charges, of course.
The switch was seamless. The product and service meet and exceed my needs. The price is great. I paid 10 times as much, for less, for 26 years;OMG! Thank you Phone Power for the positive experience.
I am a customer with Phonepower more than 6 years now. I have two lines and I used to use both lines with my cell phone using their app. Now they made the way I am able to use only one number. and no choice. It is very inconvenient and I am in the process of switching.
No service just work one month and dead.i need immediate service
Works just as good as any traditional phone service, but costs less per month. Switching to Phone Power is a no-brainer.
Great phone service good price and overall I think the best
I switched from another VOIP provider. The other service cost more and I had problems with their equipment. Very happy I made the change. I'm saving money and have had no problems.
Cell phone app is nice touch.
While it's working, the quality of phone calls is ABS great!! Using an ATA enables me to use regular phones and there is a software (Windows) app that enables me to take my phone with me as I travel, which is FANTASTIC. But... our calls are seemingly, randomly dropped after 10-55 minutes which is extraordinarily frustrating. I am looking at the ATA provider first (OBI200/202) for this problem. The softphone app has its own set of issues, such as the inability to answer if I have the headset selected as the speaker (no problem answering if I use the computer speaker). For these two issues, I've taken stars off. As these issues are resolved, I will update (if I can) this review. It is my plan to use Phone Power for my residential line (yeah, yeah) replacing Vonage, and for each of our business lines replacing Skype -- my partner & I each have home/remote offices when we are not on site with customers -- separate businesses. Adding on to the original review, Tech Support sent me a link for additional information that identified additional port ranges to allow that seems to be key in my dropped calls issue. Since implementing these _additional_ ports, dropped calls have... dropped off.
Great so far - works with no problems.
The equipment (simple) came on time, installation was simple, and it works as advertised.Couldn't be happier.
The phone disconnects on long calls!
The service is no fuss, no hassle. Does what it says and at a very reasonable price.
After working with another company that gave us pure nightmares, this was a breath of fresh air. Setup was simple and effective. Have had no issues whatsoever.
Powerphone works great i have had no problems, if you are looking for a voip phone this company is the one good support.

Mar 25,2017Was "cutting" the cord with our cable TV/ phone/ Internet provider, but we have an alarm system that still needed a dial-up line. Did some research and found Phone Power. The set up process was straight forward. The only hiccup was I didn't read their correspondence closely enough where it said when the phone service would cut over. I plugged the phones and alarm into the Phone Power system and while I could dial out, inbound calls weren't received. Well it is because the cut-over date hadn't arrived yet. So I reconnected back to the old cable provided system and waited for the couple of days. On the cutover date I moved the Phone connnection to Phone Power and all was well.
