went pretty well - Needed to work with tech support to get an acceptable outcome to my preference for voice mail to mimic as close as possible how I had it before with AT & T for two lines - tech stayed online long enough till this was accomplished ( some trial and error till we got it acceptable) Thumbs up for tech support Would be nice for Phone power to have an easier set up for "call forwarding" option that works closer to to having a multi line phone system that had a call hunting group for multiple lines tied in with "one" common voice mail for all the lines

We've had nothing but trouble with phone power.

Tried to port number that did not fit in the normal mold. Outgoing provider was very reasonable in trying to accommodate number port. PhonePower was not so reasonable. Had to escalate to manager to get any traction. Once I got traction, they ported the number, but to the wrong account (I have two phone power accounts).

It's rare that I can find anything that does exactly what its predecessor did at a savings of 90% off of yearly expense, yet that's precisely what we have here. I'm a one man consulting company, and need domestic long distance on a daily basis, with occasional overseas calls. My previous provider was Verizon (now Frontier). Because my small office is located in a business block, I was forced to subscibe to a business plan. What a scam...you get the equivalent of a normal residential plan at 4-6 times the monthly rate...for what? Absolutely nothing! I decided to try the Phone Power system, based on cost, on reviews, and on the trial period. Long story short - it's perfect for my needs. After 2 months, I can report that I've had zero problems. Oh, and by the way, setup was as easy as it gets. If you don't need an elaborate phone system, and assuming you have reliable internet, I can't imagine why you wouldn't appreciate this product, with respect to both performance and cost.

We're very pleased with Phone Power service-great connection at a great price. We especially like being able to block unwanted calls from unknown numbers.

Nothing flashy, it just works. Easy to set up landline. Also works nicely with Google Voice.

I never ordered or used this service, only contacted their sister company for internet only, yet some how, someone included this service that I never requested. I have never received equipment from this this company yet they still continue to try and charge my card me even after I called to let them know I've never used or received it. They said they tracked my equipment, only to find out it has never been used. I asked them to stop billing my card and they wouldn't, so I had to close it. They would not hear a word I said. Do not use this company.

I think phonepower is a great product. I do have one issue. The softphone drops calls without warning. I've contacted support twice and both times they point to my network or some issue on my computer. I also have a RingCentral softphone installed on the same computer, same network and have no issues with dropped calls at all.

I was apprehensive about cutting over to VoIP, as I'd worked for several companies which used it, and it wasn't always flawless. As a result I let Phone Power issue me a phone number and used that for 3 weeks to make sure I was happy with things. Everything worked as well as I hoped, and I cut off my previous provider, retaining my old number for Phone Power use. The only problem was that the previous provider (three letter service name ;-)) managed to nuke my voicemail on my wireless phone, you can probably guess the provider. It was restored immediately after it was discovered, but it took a call from my patent attorney for me to be notified that there was a problem. I have be recommending Phone Power to neighbors, friends, and family, and I will continue to do so.

After clearing up the issues from side and the last carrier I had I finally got the equipment with my old phone number and with in 5 minutes of opening the package I was up and running, it cannot be any simpler. This is a good choice that I have recommended to others.

I wanted to extend my plan another year. The agent gave poor and misleading instructions, I still don't know if or how it can be done.

There are small hiccups, such as the soft phone having issues. There were a couple other inconvenient things that happened, such as when they switched over their voice mail. I've had a few other small issues but can't think what they were-just remember having to contact tech support. Tech support has always been very helpful for me. There were a few occasions they gave me the short answer that didn't work. But when I wrote them back, they looked at the problem in-depth. There have been other times that they took it seriously right off the bat and really dug until they found and rectified the problem for me. And they have always been professional and polite to me. I always pay by the year to save a few bucks and avoid having to pay every month. Sure it hurts a little on renewal month, but it pays off over time. I also call a friend in Austria with my free 30-minute/month International calls. I used to be with Sunrocket until it went belly up. Then I tried 1 year of another company and it was the pits. I almost went back to AT&T. Then I found PhonePower and have been pleased enough to stay for 3 years, now. I hope they stay in business for a long time and keep the pricing competitive as they do now. If so, they have a permanent customer.

I have been using PhonePower for my home for over two years. I just moved my business lines to them also as they have proven the downtime to us has been zero. We use the high databits codec and cannot tell the difference in quality from the local monopoly provider. We were paying $40 per month and now we are paying $99 per year for no less service and even more benefits on worldwide we do not even use. VOIP is the way to go. I love it when someone crushes the monopolies! 40. month*12 = $480 per year or $99 once per year, same quality, same service better features!

I had trouble getting my service transferred and then some people couldn't reach me from their home phone but could from their cell phones. PhonePower's technical support team quickly took care of the problem and made sure I was satisfied with the result.

Customer service was courteous when my adapter did not arrive, and they quickly sent out a second adapter. It was easy to install, and works well. I'm very happy with the service and the value.
