After a very slow and bumpy start, the service has been good. The Good: It works fine, I make and receive calls, and the quality is pretty good. the feature set is pretty good, and most things work ok. The Bad: It took phonepower an entire MONTH to get the account active and working : They ported my number BEFORE activating, and didn't send the hardware out until several days after that. So, I had no phone at all for over a week. Their software and website are a bit buggy/funky. Bottom line: You could pay less elsewhere, but it will cost you in other ways such as poor/dropped connections, ads and whatnot. PhonePower is a pretty good value, although you may need some patience with them.
Great features, stable, with clear calls. The android app extends the service to practically anywhere. Would recommend.
easy and good
I started with Phone Power about 5 years ago. I had only satellite internet service. They warned that it might not work before I signed up. I signed up and it did work just great with my then Wild Blue Internet service. I have since upgraded to Exede Internet service and am up to 4 lines all working great for the money I am paying. I have recommended this service to friends in the last several years with all being pleased and very much still friends. Thank You Phone Power I might add the few calls I have made to Phone Power tech. support have all been answered quickly and correctly.
Simple set up and the equipment arrived quickly. The website for the phone operations is pretty good, I had to chat with a rep to clarify the "softphone " operation ,but was easy once he helped me. Plus if you travel ... boom .... you got your landline set up to your cell and it's free calling from anywhere in the world back to the States. I had 2 other vendors prior to getting powerphone for my landline and this has been the best so far.
After slightly more than one month of service: So far---So good---Well pleased---good customer service.
From start to finish Phone Power was very helpful and had more patience than I did. Verizon gave us a very hard time porting our number. Had to jump through quite a few hoops. Phone Power was great and I would recommend them highly. I really like the fact that if our electric is out or no internet service I can have my calls sent directly to my cell phone.
I have tried different vendors and Phone Power is the best in my opinion.
Cannot say enough good things about Phone Power. Everything was as promised - easy, efficient and less expensive than the big cable company I had been with for decades. Have recommended Phone Power to all my friends and family.
For those of us less electronically aware, PhonePower provides humans who call and direct when there is a problem. Also, the voicemail via e-mail is as good as Google Voice's, so you can drop Google Voice.
EVERY THING WORKED OUT AS THEY TOLD ME, THEY HELPED ME WITH MY PROBLEMS AND STAYED WITH ME TILL ALL WORKED OUT FOR ME, THE PHONE HAS GOOD QUALITY, i AM HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY OFFERED ME.
Doesn't work all the time with my home phone. The app works great but that's about all that's great..
Very happy with service
I found Phonepower after having my previous VOIP provider fail to help me when some equipment went down. I didn't know what I was missing. Phonepower has been extremely reliable without any oddities: no phone calls with no one on the other end, a long enough time to actually dial a number, and much more access like through the Phonepower desktop app. The transition was easy, and unlike Nextiva they actually answered email and phone calls to make it work. Very clear instructions on how to set up equipment, and best of all they are just about a third the cost of a lower quality provider. I've been using them for a couple months now and it's been a great start and will hopefully continue.
payment for phone is go
Tons of phone features, very good Android mobile app, all systems works good, sound quality is good too. Nice, but most expensive VoIP solution I've ever seen.
Overall not bad, I like the app ,that let you make phone call used you accountant Great add on
Phone Power service is great -- a reliable phone line that includes a lot of useful features, such as call forwarding and voicemail with e-mail notification. The one complaint I have is that during the migration of my phone number from another carrier to Phone Power, *some* of my incoming calls got lost for about a week.
I use to be with Broadvoice 5 years ago. Phone Power is now the residential company name. BV is now for business. I was mostly happy with BV, so I looked into Phone Power. Different owners now and they are now in California instead of Massachusetts which I wasn't happy about (much further away). I got a deal through Obitalk's web site that I couldn't refuse.

Nov 08,2016I had PhonePower before and loved the quality and especially the price. However I was lured back to my cable company's offer of bundling my services. Well, I am back with PhonePower and will likely stay this time. I love all the extra features, the quality of my calls are great and it is very affordable.
