Sep 12,2016Don't like the app at all. Customer support is mostly helpful after extreme wait times. Weird, unexplained issues shut my phone down dead in its tracks one day. Don't bother with SIP credentials, if you're not paying PhonePower to use their managed system, don't expect your SIP credentials to be of any use and don't expect them to give a you-know-what about your problems. Making the switch to Grasshopper.

Sep 12,2016We've had Broadvoice for a month and everything has been great. We had to have two lines before we cut the cord with AT&T and went to one line with Broad Voice. With the second line feature with Broad Voice everything works great and we have had zero problems. Now the shocker. We prepaid the full year but there was an extra $50. What? Well the extra $50 is all the fees and taxes. When you are paying $80 a month you figure $5 is about right in taxes. However when you are paying $9 a month you realize one third of your bill is to pay for government nonsense. The problem is you can fix the gouge your paying for with the phone company. The now what is one third of your bill is truly fighting City Hall. Good Luck.

Sep 12,2016Been VERY happy. 9 years of multiple and frequent VM issues with Vonage made me finally get the courage to switch. Glad I did. Only issue I've had is somehow my ring response time got changed without my doing so~ probably a glitch in the system. A friend said "your phone isn't answering!" I called tech support, and it was set back to where I'd put it originally. I was surprised I couldn't disconnect call waiting myself~ but tech support took care of that as well. After a few weeks, am getting used to dialing *21 to check voicemails. Old habits die hard, but I'm gettin' better.

Sep 10,2016Overall I am satisfied with Phone Power. Voice quality is good on both sides of the call. One problem I am having is that the call disconnects after random periods of time if I am just listening on a call. Like a training session. Same thing on my computer, but more predicable on my computer. Phone Power hasn't an answer for my but a few suggestions. I believe they have auto disconnects in place.

Sep 10,2016DSL Extreme and Phone Power don't know what each side is doing. In turn every step of the way, got messed up. I had to make 6 phone calls after service was started to fix problems.

Sep 09,2016Phone Power is a great alternative to phone service through the cable company. It is cheaper. It is not as reliable however, because it is through your internet so you can have dropped calls, echos and also the phone line sometimes goes out because the internet was restarted. Other than that, it is worth the switch. These sporadic problems do not outweigh the value and overall quality.

Sep 02,2016Initially ran into issues when I got my number ported and activated. The porting went through, but I had to activate in two places. But was resolved after a 20 minute conversation with tech. It takes about 10 extra seconds when I dial out, not sure why! but got used to it. But the quality is good. No complaints from the receivers either. I have had this service for about 2 months now. I would recommend this service to any one.

Sep 15,2016I've used Phone Power before about 2 years ago and was very pleased with the service. This time around hasn't been as good. Three times my order was canceled without me being told due to issues with billing from the provider's side. This made me cancel other appts as I wasn't able to attend without a voip line. Three times I've called to get features removed from my line and it hasn't been done properly. There are challenges even accessing the website to see what is going on that don't make sense. These issues have delayed my working almost a month. I hope whatever has happened to cause these issues is temporary because I was very happy previously and I'd rather not have to change providers.
