The right choice for VOIP for me. Easy sign-up. I had them port my Verizon landline over, which occurred effortlessly in about 1 week. They sent the required hardware rapidly and it was very quick to get up and going. The only enhancement I would like to see would be a better ability to block spam calls, currently you can only block a max of 50 phone numbers, which we all know can be achieved in a short period of time.

Switched from big-name provider to Phone Power. Much more reasonably priced with excellent services. Would recommend it to anyone.
They are thieves. I've been using them for over a decade. The service is fine but their billing is outright thievery. I purchased the yearly plan which is supposed to give you an additional year free. They will bill you for the year and won't honor the second year. I have been scammed out of $200 every year rather than the bi annual contract we agreed on. Stay far away.
I waited a few months to write this review to make sure I had a good feeling for their service. Phone Power was easy to setup, I had a small problem getting it running, but live phone support walked me through it quickly. I still have a small problem with Caller ID not showing my name properly. Customer serviced has been working on it but the answer seems to be elusive. Not a big deal for me. As far as the service, which is the most important part, voice clarity is exceptional. Phone service never fails. Basically, I can see no difference in quality or use from my old landline. Price is super cheap on the $10/month plan. Unfortunately, taxes add about $6 to that. But, that is so much cheaper than my old provider. If I had to make the change again, I wouldn't hesitate. Hope this helps.
I was initially skeptical about this phone power thing.A gave it a shot and I never regretted I did.
*UPDATE*- I received a package they sent in the mail, it was a new modem with an adapter that fits! I’m happy they followed through! Thanks phone power. *UPDATE* They sent the package with the wrong adapter power cord, it did not fit their modem. So I emailed and called them. Through email they said they didn’t send that cord (basically said I was lying) and were of little help... I asked if they can send another cord to me and there was no reply.
They are pathetic in terms of customer service. Absolutely no response to emails just standard replies! They don't even honour the 30 day money back offer!
Inexpensive used lap top with a windows license. Working well. Nothing flashy but good enough to surf the net wirelessly.
I really enjoyed until recently. I have issue on getting voicemail forwarded to my email. I snapshot where I was stuck and email support for 2 to 3 times without any response. I received one response, so I sent them a snapshot on where I was putting my forwarding email and asking to show where it was supposed to be. And guess what? No more response. Like all these companies, they have a good start and suddenly, they are turning to a very disappointing outlook...all the services are gone. And believe me, I contacted them 3 or 4 times for the past 8 years using them, it was quick and easy, and now, just a disaster.
Phonepower responded well to my request and pursued the phone company from which I wanted to transfer in order to complete a number transfer successfully. Also the equipment and line (the second in my home) work fine.

Little if any protection from Robocalls. Needs more call blocking options. Cannot block entire area codes and/or prefixes within an area code. Web page is slow. Takes up to 24 hours for call logs to be updated. Same is true with e-mails of call notifications. Company needs to announce changes and it would be nice to know what improvements are in the works.
Phone Power is subpar.
We've only had service with PP for 1 month now. Home phone service/call quality s 10 times better than 1voip (our previous provider) but the cellphone app keep dropping connection with the app every 5 minutes. Says app is no longer registered. Wait a minute and it re-registered.

Porting and setup was seamless and very easy. I had a question on my 1st invoice and called customer service but was on hold too long so I had to hang up. I figured it out myself but I would try and have quicker response to questions.
