The overall was good. A technician was needed to complete the connection, and he did his job. I am very satisfied
I have two lines, the adapters of which are in rooms about 35 feet apart; each is plugged into a different router. Routers are connected by an ethernet cable run under the floor to each room. Both lines work very well. The sound usually is clear, with a very occasional echo on one line. When call waiting was activated and I did not answer the new call, the old call was dropped. I disabled call waiting. Technical support is very helpful. The adapter came very quickly, and phone service became available promptly. The one area where the company might improve is in their order taking by phone, where an e-mail address was copied incorrectly (resulting in no updates about the order) and where a crucial question needed to port the number was not asked (but which I corrected later). I would very highly recommend them.
We have had Phone Power for 3 months. NO difference in call quality that goes for Local, Long Distance and International calls. While we did get a transcript via e-mail of missed calls with our old service, Phone Power sends a recording of the message to my e-mail on missed calls - this takes out the electronic transcription errors. Set up and connections took seconds. I did research this before we decided on Phone Power. Our total minutes of Outgoing calls was always below the extra charge threshold, so there were no surprises in the billing The big difference is the price. ~ a little less than 1/2 the price of our old service. Did I say no billing surprises: The itemized invoices lets me know just how much and in how many ways the government is taking, the money I earn, from me. One has to wonder where all this money is going and whose political friends it is paying - this is for any VOI phone service, not just Phone Power - kudos to Phone Power for listing out these charges
It's working great for us, we are able to wildcard block 800 877 866 numbers and as many local numbers as we need. Once you figure out the interface it's pretty simple. Love it! Enabled us to get rid of cable!
So far, EVERYTHING has functioned exceptionally well except for one "glitch" that made me select 4 stars instead of 5 stars. My equipment was sent out on March 26 and yet my service was "activated" on March 4. It seems to me that I don't have any service until I can make and receive telephone calls. It appears to me that my renewal payment will be due at least three weeks before my one-year anniversary of ACTUAL service. I believe that service activation should not be recorded as such until I at least receive the necessary equipment!
I have used PhonePower at one of my homes for four years now with an Obihai voice bridge and it was ok overall, although the voice quality and reliability doesn't seem to be as good as others I am using. All in all, it was acceptable, and WAS reasonably priced. They have, however, continued to jack the price and reduce features (or sell them as extras). Things went really bad when my credit card on file expired after 3 years so that the renewal did not go through. Accounts are immediately de-provisioned (even with $0 overdue balance!!) without notice or grace period, much less a courtesy call or text. It's proven to be an unnecessarily long and difficult process to get it fixed. When you realize your phone has stopped working, you first try to login in to find out what is going on and learn that your online access is locked out so that you can't even update your card! You have to call and wait forever to get a human to update billing info, and they jack the price even higher knowing that you can't even port your number out to another provider without reconnecting first! Very unscrupulous and dishonest to hold you hostage despite no account balance IMHO. But, it gets worse! After the first call and rip off payment, still nothing! Multiple calls and my phone has been offline for nearly a week now. This should take minutes or hours, not days to resolve! Worst experience I have ever had with a VOIP provider and I would never recommend this terrible company.
Great customer service during transfer of my number from Vonage. Similar plan to Vonage at half the cost!
Phone calls are clear, and the system works beautifully. My inquiries have been met professionally, promptly, and courteously. I am very pleased.
absolutely beautiful service, no problems at all, well worth the money!
Excellent phone service for an amazingly low price. I highly recommend it.
No issues with my phone service. Much better than thier competition.
When the calls dropped, the service had a solution for the problem within 24 hours. Phone power VOIP is working perfectly now. Service is everything !!
I couldn't be happier, power phone gives me the service I was receiving from ATT. The sound is clear don't have to be constantly refreshing server like Verizon phone, There was time you could not get through( It would say the customer you are trying to reach is unavailable) . When I got the Power Phone in the mail I thought O no this little package looks like trouble. Once plugged in and connected to internet it connects itself. This is what I have been searching for. I would highly recommend this service, the price is hard to beat.
so far it is good
Inexpensive way to maintain a landline. Paid a year in advance, don't have to worry about monthly bill and saved even more. Instructions and set up were easy.
I find support is less than minimal. It is not very intuitive. Features explained are not available. Quite disappointed with my experience. May wish to cancel soon. Have a nice day.
Very happy with Phone Power! Set up was easy, excellent customer service and just happy with the service. :)
In the one month since I signed up I've had several instances of poor or lost verbal communication. I actually picked Phone Power because of the reviews of great voice quality. I hope these are isolated instances.
I came back to PhonePower after 16 months with another VOIP company. I used PhonePower for over ten years before and I am very happy with the service and price. The only problem I had when I order an international virtual number. I called customer service over, and over to get it activated. After ten days the problem has been fixed.
