I have lived in the same Places for People property for 20 years and previously worked for the company during that time for 5 years. I never met anyone that could honestly say they were proud to work there or a truly satisfied tenant, myself included. For each thing they get right, they get four things wrong. They only take significant action when someone fails to pay their rent. All other issues are mostly ignored, avoided or solved with the cheapest possible solution. My kitchen was 30 years old and falling apart so finally it was due to be replaced. Places for People subcontracted the work to MD Group who further subcontracted the works. A job quoted as two weeks has been going for 3 months and I now have mould, uneven floors and no gas hob. Without seeing the works at all, Places for People marked the job as complete and I was told by MD Group I would need to finish any outstanding work myself. I complained 8 weeks ago and have had very little contact and no attempt to resolve my grievance. They also continue to increase my rent each year by the maximum amount legally allowed. The only good thing I will say is that the majority of operates that attend normal jobs are nice and courteous. Avoid this company at all costs.

Honesty would be a great start shorter times for repairs instead of months having to wait. To be able to know who your housing officer is and be able to contact him/her. I’ve been waiting two years to get my kitchen sorted because of a leak from upstairs. I have no faith in places for people at all they tell you what they think you want to hear but it’s never the truth I’ve put up with this for the last 12years
I have no idea what 'recent experience' you are talking about. PLEASE ADVISE. I don't expect to hear back, it doesn't often happen. My rating given is for General Places For People experiences since you took over from our last landlords. Like my school reports 'Could Do Better', comes to mind. Excellent service
Terrible to get the repairs done, and when they finally do they send cowboys who do a shocking repair and when you tell place for people they are rude and don’t care.
Still awaiting response from someone anyone You said to send an email I have already done that on Monday
The young gentleman came and was quick and efficient He also changed the timer for me and the new box works so much better so I can control my heating so much better. He was pleasant and professional as well as explaining everything to me.

Absolutely a disgrace. How long? I've been waiting for my son's disability shower to be fixed. Reported it on the 27th of November. Still has not been fixed. You should be ashamed of your standards and how you treat people

Jan 09,2025When my shower needed fix , your department came out and replaced it that very day , service was excellent polite worker. Checks on gas supply can’t fault your staff and feeling safe that equipment working properly.
