I think the company needs to address the problems connected with service and maintenance. As a severely disabled tenant, the slightest issue at home can be a disaster. Even something as basic as changing a light bulb becomes a major challenge. To be told that I could be without heat for up to 60 days is simply appalling! Another example is that I have been waiting for 6 years to have a back door fitted, and I've been asking for my kitchen to be replaced for 15 years! There's always an excuse but nothing gets done. Basically, I think that PfP should be doing more to support their elderly and disabled clients.
You're asking me for a review without providing ANY response to a complaint. The comment added is a standard reply, as many other tenants of places for people know the suggested contact DOES NOT get back to you. Meaning I still have had no response to any of my complaints.
You booked my app for repairs twice did not arrive did. Not do roof repairs sink in kitchen still broken you said you were coming twice no show
Worse housing ever been with 4 years later still no compensation for loss of brand new kitchen and clothes ruined through damp. Bungalow freezing 2nd& 3rd surveyor said could be due to know insulation or needing renewal of insulation,no proper working kitchen, I'm using a bedroom cupboard in kitchen as lack of space, kitchen cupboards handles keep being glued now fed up with sticking them, not enough space for my oven so not been able to install it,wall in the kitchen was skimmed due to false wall disintegrating,I was told I have to pay for re decorating the wall ,had boiler replaced workmen ripped kitchen paper around the boilers plugs ect, said I have to decorate,I have been getting advice and was told I am not responsible for them damaging the walls not was I responsible for the damp in living room and hallway that p4p came out and skimmed the floor there was tiles on the floor and started to lift through the damp they did not replace the tiles and left it that I had to borrow money to get floor covering,I have concrete lifting in my drive and grass and wholes in my garden after several complaints to p4p four years on they have avoided the works I am now waiting for a solicitor as I have been told they are responsible not me and will be entitled to compensation for loss of items and for stress this has caused.
Everyone involved was polite, respectful, friendly and made the whole process easy
My experiences are everything badly all windows are not sealed and my main door I keep asking need to put something but never ever giving attention since have a investigation in this area in Paddock and the stairway are never since cleaning with the PFP now it’s moulded/ slippery and my exhaust fan in the kitchen that the bloody man he put a wrong one so hardly to take a smell of what I cook and it’s hard to keeping warmer the inside of the flat Neighbour upstairs are always creating noise at night seems doing illegal things at night I always heard lifting a heavy things in the floor every night of their operation and people who live there a people from EU and remember this flat is good only for 1 person I just wondered why they let 2 people live in there Below my flat it’s great and because he live alone same of me . Upstairs whole night they use the water for a on what’s going on there so precautions are.

2x emergency 'repair' to boiler leakage. Problem still not resolved inspite of the reassurance re: job completed. Same employee both times..! Date: December 2024. This is an estimate: exact date N/K. Very unsatisfactory. Reason I have given 1x star rating. I hope this matter will be investigated and I hope to hear from you immediately. Kind Regards Elaine Adamson.
I have waited in all dayfor someone to come out from pfp repair team to assess the on going issue with the windows in my home..& no great surprise no one has turned up. As I explained in my email to pfp how cold this house is and how much it costs to heat it ..very disappointed to say the least.
Avoid St James Court Brighouse HD6 1RY,this scheme is awful ,bullied by neighbours, not a pleasant experience, informed head office and scheme manager.AVOID this scheme, banging doors ,bad atmosphere, and an undercurrent of dissatisfaction, back stabbing tenants .
The entire building is invested with rodents I have them in my flat I first reported it on the 1st of July 2024 and after 6 months they done nothing so now had to take legal action against them. They are slow on doing anything took about 2 months to come to repair a broken window handle that took one man less then 10 min to do. Almost everyone in the building has reported mice in the building and not once have they sent any pest control down. Places for people do not care about the health of their tenants
So....the old man I have been supporting in a P4P home has now become confused, overwhelmed and exhausted due to the ongoing unresolved mould issue in his lounge. This matter has been ongoing since at least October 2024 with no one yet even coming out to do an inspection let alone fixing the problem. Said elderly gentleman has to spend long periods of time in bed due to breathing in the toxicity every time he puts the heating on which causes mould spores to be circulated. I can also attest to the mould affecting my health when I go to visit as within 10mins of sitting in his lounge I start wheezing and getting a headache. All of which clears up when I leave. This ongoing situation whereby all his calls for help are either being ignored or he is given empty promises is not only unacceptable but also elder abuse and illegal according to recent Govt legislation regards Landlords and mould. I have put up 2 other reviews here clearly speaking my mind about this matter but the gentleman concerned (and he is a gentle man) did not wish me up til now to press this further or take this to a Claims Court for fear he would be seen as a troublesome tenant and thrown out. This is an elderly gentleman of 75yrs who has lived without incident in his home since 2017 until P4P took over and it has become apparent they dont seem to give 2 hoots about renters or their well-being. Everything is designed to be utterly confusing to older people - endless online links, surveys and forms that go nowhere; tons of reassuring emails from 101 different people that similarly achieve nothing and even phone calls that pay lip service to action being on the cards but again dying a death on the 'nothing happening' heap. If this man is hospitalised due to mould toxicity (which his GP attests is the case) P4P will have to come in and fix it in order to pass the place off to someone new..... so sooner or later P4P will need to address this problem. I am not sure what the problem is with addressing it urgently now, as Govt legislation indicates should be the case? (see Govt website guidance entitled 'Understanding and addressing the health risks of damp and mould in the home' dated Aug 2024). You have a duty of care legally to sort this out ASAP. Do we need another Awaab Ishaak death in order for P4P to take action? The whole block of bungalows the gentleman lives in is full of elderly people. Several of whom have complained of similar issues with P4P. It appears absolutely ZERO assistance is forthcoming to help with all the expected maintenance stuff that decent Landlords normally see to. On the P4P website Vicky Bonner appears to be the woman who would be at the top of the hierarchy in terms of accountability here. I now give public notice that this situation which the woman: Vicky Bonner; has accountability for is causing harm to a man, who is a relative of i, and whom i, may claim as property of i; i, state that i, speak for said man, and that i, will now write in the private by email to said woman, for immediate resolution of this matter and if remedy is not forthcoming i, will consider this to be intentional trespass by way of harm by way of negligence against property of i, for which i, will press a substantial claim for health damages to said property of i, against said woman, at a court of law by way of trial by jury; written by i: woman; sarah godwin.
Prompt service , the guy who did the job was amazing ,very good and didn't give up until it was sorted
Quick efficient service and solution and friendly experienced workmen
They finally fixed my boiler after several visits and a new boiler. The fault was with the new boiler and not the engineer who came out . One of the pipes had not been screwed up tight so it was leaking. The engineer soon had the leak under control and cleaned up the mess.

Jan 08,2025Placesforpeople are excellent landlords. Their properties are kept in great conditions. They have wonderful worker who make this possible. The caretakers are always on hand to help with fly tipping and picking litter, even with the flow public walking through the estate to other places. Bins are collected regularly.
