I've been with you now around 10 years so far so good the house it's self is a good house as a company you are in my eye on it all your maintenance people are bang on all of them have a great manner when come to do a job the rant is very fair all I all your not bad at all many thanks Paul parr
Communication is shocking. Error by yourselves but then send out threatening legal letters. It’s your way or threats. You don’t acknowledge any customer needs
Rent is through the roof and I’m expected to pay it and yet they’ve left me with no back door ( it’s boarded up) since Valentine’s Day last year. Multiple appointments made to fix it but it’s never happened. They just keep robbing me off.
I know a few of them now always polite and most workers clean up after themselves
Very understanding, Very helpful
Requested fencing since last year Contractor sick again Pushed repair back 3 months
Customer service is appalling, will do anything to get out of repair. Total chaos, excuse after excuse.
Lots of outstanding repairs for a long period of time, the repairs that have been “dealt with” have been completely cowboyed with filler. No one in contacts centres communicate with each other. Terrible service.
Places For People have always been great in my experience. Easy to contact, and really good at sorting out any problems I’ve had. They are way better than other housing associations I have had dealings with in the past. Thank you so much
Rent is very expensive for a 1 bed bungalow I am 68 and can’t see myself retiring anytime soon due to high cost of living. The bungalow is very dated needed new bathroom suite I have put in myself.. kitchen is old and peeling I have had decorators in to tidy them Up. My gardens are overgrown I am too old to manage them so I have to pay someone to keep them relatively tidy. I just feel the rent is too high compared to some 1 bed properties in Edinburgh.
I have been living in this property from 2010 and I have been asking for repairs to be completed since 2014, had responses classing it as cosmetics and up to now I am still waiting for them to be completed. At times contractors come out and just take a picture of my front door without knocking and say I was not in or wait all day for contractors then get a call later on in the day with excuses of a contractor meant to attend being unwell.
Emergency repairs are dealt with pronto. Anything else they are less than useless!
Easy to contact
Great experience. Literally nothing to comment on. Great job.
For more than 10 months I'm reporting a neighbour letting 3 dogs poo in the communal garden. None are doing anto solve this health and safety problem. My mental health condition got worse to the point I have toask for a sick line. I can’t sleep I'm anxious and unconfirmed in my own home.
Don’t like that antisocial behaviour is not taken seriously. And people are left to put up with it. Neighbours are left to dump rubbish in car park constantly and it’s not dealt with.
If there are any issues you act quickly to Deal with them in my experience
I have always had a good experience with places for people
My heating stopped working between xmas and new year I called to register the job lady on the phone gave me some advise to try fix it but sadly no joy. I was then told someone would come out but could be up to 10 o’clock that night, someone was with me after an hour and he came in and sorted the problem all within 30 minutes, great service
Mr E Dickson
