The properties weren't available, although they showed availability. One was sold! Plus they only refunded 10% of our deposit. I put in a complaint with our cc. Stay away!!!
Booked an upcoming trip through Plum Guide, and the process of booking is as simple as you would expect. Clear, intuitive UI, excellent filtering options, prices laid out clearly, and a fantastic selection of residences to choose from. An issue, which was not of the making of, or due to Plum Guide arose afterwards, and they could not have been more helpful or pro-active in resolving it for me. Good reviews are great and all that when nothing has gone awry, but it's when something does happen that you see the true mettel of a company, and Plum Guide have certainly not been found wanting. The gentleman who was dealing with my issue, was exactly that: a gentleman. Listened to what the issue I experienced was, set expectations as to what would be involved for Plum Guide to review, and come back to me with a resolution, and then did exactly that, followed up, when he promised. If you're concerned about using Plum Guide over some of the bigger, larger known booking platforms, then hopefully this review will help set your mined at ease. They have been absolutely phenomenal to deal with. Highly recommend them.

I have yet to travel but as far as the website is concerned, the properties appear to be very well chosen. However, the first property we booked on Instant Book was cancelled as there was an error and it was apparently not available. The second property took a long time to get back to us but did at least confirm. Will update once the trip is completed.
Wow. This site is incredible. The places are outstanding and awe-inspiring. BUT the hidden gem is being able to access the (free) support of the booking team. You'd be a fool to pass up the excellent (and free) services available via the chat function. If you're lucky enough to get Alexia (she's a real person, not a robot), you're in for a treat. Her ability to find properties that matched our unique needs with kids, our budget and our crazy schedule was something I would expect to pay a top-tier travel agent for. 100% outstanding. I've recommended countless friends, and every single one had the same disbelief at my praise until they experienced it for themselves. Do not miss out on the chat function (or Alexia).

They did not reply to an email regarding a booking transfer due to the death of my dog and then I discovered they had charged me a £152.60 booking fee and did not respond to my request to know what this fee covered. I will not be using them again and will go direct to the cottage company next time.
Process for booking and information exchange was simple and accurate. Rental was clean and stocked with all the essentials. Extremely satisfied with our experience and the unit rented. Would definitely book this condo again.

Not only are their properties wonderful, but their customer service is second to none. I dealt with William regarding a slight issue with the hot tub in the cottage we were staying at and he was so brilliant - responsive, was understanding, and got the issue resolved promptly. Thank you, William!
The most disappointing customer service! I thought booking through plumb guide was supposed to be an elevated experience from booking through airbnb or other companies. I was told our house came with certain features in a chat with them. Now they are saying those features are not available after I book and our correspondence has been "removed"This is the last time I will ever use them. Extremely disappointed.
It was a fabulous experience with Plum Guide. Found a "hidden" gem in London,central and yet quiet. Lovely furnished with nice hosts. Would absolutely recommend and book again in a heartbeat.

I was given one point of contact, William, who took control of everything, offered several alternatives, regardless of the price and found us something we were comfortable with. All within 24 hours. Now that’s service.
