Feb 12,2024The accommodation was very well located, very central, great links to transport around the city of London. There were great pubs and shops nearby. It had quite a 'village' feel to it. Being on the 5th floor meant we had wonderful views over the surrounding areas. The pictures and comments regarding the accommodation on the Plum Guide website were very accurate so there were no surprises when I arrived. The people I dealt with at Plum Guide advocated for me when negotiating with the host which was a great help when my circumstances changed and I had to adjust my booking.

Feb 12,2024Paddlers Watch was perfect for us, party of four. The accommodation itself was comfortable spacious, full of light and clean. Our 3 yr old Cavapoo loved it. There were a few minor things which could easily be resolved, for example a screen on the bath in the en-suite and perhaps a few more bits of crockery. The hot tub was a real treat to have. Overlooking the river. We enjoyed it in the winter sun …it was totally exhilarating. Walking distance to the local supermarket and pub. It was perfectly located, we used it as a base to travel around. We will definitely visit again.

Feb 10,2024Simple, easy to use website. Responsive, professional and helpful hosts before, during and after our stay. Property was in a great location, clean and tidy. The flat was a “roomy” 3 bedroom/3 bath for Central London. The kitchen was adequately stocked to prepare simple meals. The Host kindly provided starter paper products, coffee/tea, detergent and toiletries. Only a small under counter frig but a freezer the same size. Washer/dryer combo was very nice to have (dryer is rubbish, but very typical in London). Linens and towels were of good quality (pillows were awful). Furnishings were bright and cheerful. We had a fabulous holiday. We will use Plum Guide again!

Feb 09,2024Fantastic service and knowledge from Georgia, who took over the research of our high demands for a special summer holiday this August. Not only trying to ensure we had the right villa, pool, outdoor space but a location that worked for a mix of calm but ability to get into some nightlife. We also needed to have great cycling routes for our training. Georgia researched so thoroughly even checking out the roads on google street view to be sure we had the right recommendations. The property options are all amazing and a cut above other sites (without paying crazy prices!). We are now down to a couple of options from literally 10+ and will be securing our favourite choice asap before it's gone! Thanks again Plum Guide and specifically to the patient and knowledgeable Georgia - the best Plum Matchmaker they have!

Feb 08,2024The property that I was trying to book was no longer available as a rental and the team were unaware of this so I wasted 5 days trying to book it. The staff were really helpful that I had contact with but it was disappointing that you were advertising it. I've just received a reply from Plum Guide in relation to the above review which states the property has been removed from their website. I've just checked and it's still there and available to book! That's really not very good. 10th February - A Selkies Coat is still on Plum Guide website despite them saying that it had been removed 4 days ago!!!! 23rd February - A Selkies Coat is still on the website . I would not book a holiday rental using Plum Guide.

Feb 04,2024Unfortunately we can’t rate our accommodation because we won’t get to stay there. We were attracted to Plum Guide due to the quality of accommodation and reassurances regarding cancellations. Having booked and fully paid for accommodation in Lisbon just before Christmas 2023, when general availability was still good across booking sites, and started to make excited plans with our family we were disappointed to find out a month later (and 2 months before our holiday) that our accommodation had been double booked (by the owner) and was not available for us. This is were things really went wrong. Limited availability on Plum meant the only alternative option at same price (including their 20% discount) was unsuitable (tall teenagers in bunk beds) or eye wateringly over twice the price and more. This meant we had to cancel our booking. Meanwhile general accommodation availability across other sites was by this time much reduced, so even with the full refund our holiday plans are now on hold and having waisted time searching for alternative accommodation we are faced with the choice of cancelling or postponing our holiday or staying well outside of Lisbon.

Feb 03,2024The place was perfect for our group of 6. I really like that there were no "extra" fees like Air B&B has. Since it was our first time in Lisbon, it was nice to have the Gem Accommodation Group there for suggestions and help booking tours and airport transfers.

Feb 02,2024The apartment was beautifully stylish and had everything we needed. It is in an old building with a large central courtyard oozing authentic Italian charm. Within 5 minutes of the apartment we could catch the tram (no.3) to the Duomo. There were cafes around the corner and a fab pizzeria recommended to us by Matteo.
