Jan 24,2024Our stay at Rua Mártires da Liberdade 178, 3 Direito 4000 brought us so much joy!! From start to finish, everything about this vacation rental exceeded our expectations. The apartment was abundant in charm and character with 12 foot ceilings that made it feel like a spacious loft. And the apple red French doors added a timeless and elegant look. The apartment had a good vibe and we felt super relaxed. It was evident that LovelyStay put a great deal of effort into maintaining a pristine environment. The location couldn’t have been any better! The apartment was within walking distance of key attractions, and many trendy bars and independent shops and cafes. The LovelyStay property management company seemed to really care about the little things that make for a wonderful experience. We arrived in Lisbon after a 7-hour flight followed by a 3-hour train ride to Porto. We were super exhausted and didn’t have the energy to keep going. We contacted LovelyStay to ask for an earlier check-in, and they graciously accommodated our last-minute request. We were so grateful for their all-around warm hospitality. We were also impressed by the house manual that included a welcome message, compliance regarding cleanliness protocols, house rules and the local scoop, etc.! It was these gestures that go above and beyond that truly set a property management company apart!

Jan 23,2024Arrived to find rental to be illegal being asked to insure we avoided concierge. Take keys hidden in bushes. Told to pretend we were personal guests of the owners. We were not comfortable and explained this and no reassurance this was a legit rental so we scrambled to find another rental. were not refunded our money and it was very expensive terrible experience

Jan 19,2024As a travel coordinator, I am dedicated to finding top notch stays for my clients. Sadly, Plum Guide does not deliver on its promise or guarantee. The apartment in Paris “The Pianist” was no better than a VRBO or AirBnB. While the surface seemed fine, the lack amenities like heat and blankets was unacceptable and the rudeness of the owner unexpected from an “exclusive” listing.

Jan 18,2024Our stay was canceled because of 'technical issues' when in reality the host made the same date available again, for a much higher price because of the high demand that weekend (Taylor Swift concert). We booked this months ago and are now forced to look at different options, which is difficult because most hotels/studio's are already booked by now.

Jan 17,2024We booked a new year stay in Margate at Sea Salt and Brick which we were hugely looking forward to with friends a total group of 6. Upon arrival we were aware another group of eight were entering the property. Very quickly we were very aware that the property was double booked for the same dates. We tried desperately to find another property but failed and had to return to London with cars full of food for our 3 night stay. Although we received a refund Plum did nothing by way of compensation or could offer us another property. The property was double booked due to the 2 operating websites not syncing so showed availability to the later booking for the other group. Very poor experience and our new year plans were totally trashed. Thanks Plum!!!! Very bitter taste and one that won't be repeated.

Jan 15,2024Plum Guide is a very reliable company. I have used them many times and have never been disappointed ! Last time was in Madrid and we were greeted on time to a very nice flat with high ceiling and nice decoration in a lovely building. Very well located too. We were able to do everything by foot. I can't recommend Plum guide enough and this time it was in a flat called "Paint the Town Rojo". Enjoy !

Jan 13,2024Booked and paid for a large property for a party of 20 of us. Sometime later I received a call from a foreign call centre telling me that they couldn't honor the booking for "technical reasons". I found the owner of the property and spoke with them, it turned out the property was already booked and that even if it wasn't Plum had the price wildy wrong, in fact the real cost was £25k more than plm had listed it for. He explained it wasn't the first time this had happened. Thankfully this wasn't done last minute. He explained that plum were an aggregator and just list properties from other sites. I will learn from this and book direct if possible in the future and if not, use a company who will guarantee my booking. This explains the reviews on this site where the booking was cancelled at the last minute, even whiles guest are travelling.

Jan 31,2024The house was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Great living room, dining room, study and really well stocked, in a great location for all Norfolk has to offer. The local pub food was also v good, a recommendation from the Plum Team. We all loved it, even the dog!
