Mar 04,2024First time trying Plum Guide. So frustrated to wait 72 hours to get my request canceled with ZERO explanation! Am I turned down? Did the host sleep through the alarm? Was my credit card refused? Do you just not like me? Can I resubmit my request? Will I be able to find another place to stay now on three days shorter notice? Time to go back to AirBnB, where I've had dozens of rentals with never a refusal, and who offers clear communications and prompt responses. [EDIT] Happy ending. Through Booking.com, I was able to book the nearly identical property next door with instant booking, and for $104 cheaper!

Mar 02,2024• The location, beautiful part of Notting Hill and in that little Mews area was just excellent, it was quiet at night but right in the heart of the town, just amazing. • The decor was super, it was exactly as it was pictured and described, there was a lot of natural light in the apartment which was great, the kitchen was beautiful and very functional • The guidelines on what to do, when to do it, security (especially considering it was the carnival weekend too) was great, I was very happy with the owner manual that came through. It was perfect honestly.

Feb 25,2024This is for Topiaries apartment. Great location, beautiful building and well laid out for 4. I don’t see this being for 6 unless the sofa is replaced and it needs to. The entire building seems to be only vacation apartments and considering the standing the apt should be refreshed. Walls could do with repainting. Sofa and chairs have almost flat cushions or with a big dent in the cushion. The dining table has water stains due to the type of material. The joints in the very clean bathroom needs cleaning as it has black mould. None of this hampered our stay but a shame given the way the site presents the apartments. This is our second stay using Plum Guide. We will use them again but hope that we won’t have this experience again.
