We have rented two apartments through Plum Guide for an upcoming vacation. So far our experience has been outstanding in getting the apartments booked. The staff has been very helpful.
We have used Plum Guide a few times and have always found the places we stayed and the Plum Guide service excellent from start to finish. Recently we rented an apartment in Venice. The apartment was perfect for our needs - well appointed, comfortable beds, right number of bathrooms, lovely kitchen and living areas. The location was also perfect for us - quiet neighbourhood but close to everything - quick access to 2 vaparetto stops and easy walks to almost everywhere Plum Guide service was, as usual, excellent

We found a warm and inviting home in Copenhagen. Located right in the heart of the city and yet a quiet and family friendly environment. The owners even had coffee pods in the kitchen for us. A lovely grocery store is an easy walk distance and had everything we needed. Also several delicious restaurants all within walking distance.
Miles away from the other short-rental platforms. I've travelled quite a bit and always felt very little support from the normal mainstream platforms. With Plum, I got a proactive and knowledgeable match-maker that felt like a true hotel concierge. Thanks a lot!
I had booked and paid for 2 nights accommodation to stay for Christmas at South Bank Star, a rooftop penthouse over 3 floors, with stunning views across London. On Christmas Eve, 2 hours before we were due to check-in, I received a phone call telling me the accommodation was already occupied due to an administrative error. I was offered 2 alternative properties, neither of the standard or location of the original. I had no choice but to pick one. I chose a property in Covent Garden however all of my groceries, and wine, which I’d pre-booked in early November, were due to be delivered to the original apartment - these needed to be cancelled as it was too late to re-route them. So on Christmas Eve, by this point late-afternoon, I needed to find a way to get food and drink for 2 days over Christmas (including an alternative to our turkey dinner) sourced from local convenience stores in Covent Garden. It was a disaster. Plum Guide worked with, and stood by me, in seeking compensation with the property management company in the end, ensuring this was secured. There is no doubt that our Christmas was ruined, and it was worrying that mistakes like this can happen, but the people at Plum, particularly William in the Care team, worked hard to restore my trust in them. I’m grateful that we now have some resolution and I can at least use Plum going forward knowing that if and when things unfortunately go wrong, they stand by you and help as much as possible.
I wanted to be in London for three months, from the end of March to the end of June, and I had several requirements: private, outdoor space; a freezer in the fridge (an American needs ice cubes); and a location with good Tube access. This apartment in the heart of Soho gave me everything I wanted. I loved the neighborhood, which was lively, interesting (a Hare Krishna group parading every Saturday evening — I thought they had disappeared with the 60s) and friendly. The Elizabeth line was two blocks from my door when my visitors or I needed to get to or from Heathrow. The cleaning and maintenance staff were lovely and prompt to take care of any issues. And being in the heart of London meant that everything was within reach.
The company and hosts were user friendly, easy to book, easy to follow up with, and responsive. The apartment was great.

The customer service from PlumGuide is very, very poor. My property was badly damaged and despite being told the damage would be taken care of it has not been so I am over a thousand pound out of pocket. I have removed my property from PlumGuide and would not recommend them. Anna - Following on from your reply, I did submit what was required by what’s app the day after guests checked out, I also telephoned in about this. I emailed in and did not hear anything back. I have sent the customer service team all proof of these messages along with other messages and I was told that this would be dealt with. Not once was I pointed to your T&C nor told the time scale of damage invoices. As it is the specialist cleaning company could not attend straight away and nor could the company to see if the sofa could be fixed/saved. I am now pursuing this legally due Even your lawyer took over a week to get back to me.
During the process of booking, paying and prior our stay, we always got the information we needed. The appartment was in the very center but totally quiet with nice/big rooms, great infrastructure and very clean. the bed was on the hard side.
The house was exactly as described, great amenities, comfortable, cosy and great location. We were 2 families of 4 and it was the perfect place to enjoy the local coast. We arrived for new years weekend to a bottle of champagne and a few logs to get fire going! The local village has everything you need, some great family and dog friendly pubs, an amazing bakery, and a well stocked general store. I would advise bringing extra bin bags (there was only one which wasn’t sufficient for 8 people, 3 nights when you are cooking at home) something in which to take glass recycling to the local glass bins and extra wood and loo roll!
The customer service was first class from the agency that serviced the holiday home. Communication was great and the location of the place was excellent. The place was exceptionally clean and well furnished. I’m very pleased I used plumb guide to find the holiday HL home because it took much of the guess work out of choosing, excellent location and service
We loved the apartment, the location and the view. The description of the home was very accurate and it was very clean. The hosts were helpful and easy to communicate with.
