Jan 09,2025Found Plum Guide when searching the internet for a short break over the New Year holiday, and found a place that looked suitable called the Artists Residence near Flamlingham, Suffolk. It turned out to be just what we wanted for a secluded and quiet four day break, with the experience made better by the attentive, but not intrusive service provided by Plum. We were delighted with the stay, and all our questions to Plum before and during the stay were answered quickly, accurately and entirely to our satisfaction, even on New Year's Eve! I am happy to highly recommend searching for Plum Guide if you are looking for first rate accommodation with a gold star service attached.

The places we have rented have always been consistent with their photos and descriptions and the service is always excellent. I particularly like the section of their property descriptions which outlines things you really need to know.

Jan 08,2025The booking procedure and assistance with identifying a property that met our brief were excellent. It was particularly reassuring to have easy and direct telephone access to an account manager and not be left to deal with electronic forms or - worse - some level of AI driven “customer service” when we were on the other side of the globe. Our initial confirmed booking (made six months in advance) suddenly became unavailable less than six weeks from our travel date due to changes in the hosts circumstances. The Plum Guide team swung into action and assisted with recommendations for an alternative property. The accommodation was as described. Support from the host (over the Christmas/New Year Holiday I might add) was prompt and attentive to address some very minor challenges that nonetheless would have otherwise detracted from our two week stay. I could not fault the service from Plum Guide.

We have also used some other accommodation sites and have been disappointed more often than not! This is not the case with Plum Guide - they are a great company to deal with. Beautifully appointed and a kitchen that would make a chef smile. The beds were so comfy. Emma was a wonderful host - we could not have asked for anything more. Simply Perfect!

Beautiful, clean, comfortable home in a fantastic location, with every amenity one could hope for. Communication with the hosts was easy and friendly, and they provided a lovely and very thoughtful welcome gift. We will definitely be back!

Jan 01,2025Visiting Saltburn for a bit of calm between Christmas and New Year with my husband, 2 adult sons and our dog. Licenced to chill was perfect for our needs. Spacious with a room each. The communal space was comfortable and well equipped. The apartment was ideally located close to shops, restaurants and bars and a short walk to the beach. Our host was proactive giving clear instructions for entering the property, places to park with restaurant recommendations. Would definitely book through Plum Guide again and stay at Licenced to Chilli.
