Oct 30,2024Great location within easy walking distance of Beaulieu village and only a mile or some from Bucklers Hard. Quirky old thatched cottage with amply garden. Layout is pretty quirky so be sure to read the details carefully to ensure it would suit your group with the main issue being that the only area large enough for a big group (6+ adults) is the kitchen diner. There is also a smell of damp that you notice when you first arrive but a few scented candles and a bit of cooking and you don't notice it (until you go out and come back). It's an old place with a thatched roof and probably no damp proof course so it's understandable.

Oct 30,2024Very central location, opposite the Leicester Square tube, walking distance to the theatre, Piccadilly Circus and lots of eating options. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. All the amenities we needed for a three night stay. We had great contact with the Team at Plum Guide and would love to stay here again in the future.

Oct 28,2024I think Plum Guide is a great operation. But they are merely consolidating owner rentals that they have vetted. Website clearly stated a couple of Extras available for the rental. When I inquired to Plum Guide, they could not answer any questions about the Extras. They referred me to contact owner. Owner responded quickly but I would expect Plum Guide to offer more knowledge, rather than just a Pass Through rental agency.

Oct 27,2024We booked with Plum after experiencing some very disappointing French properties. We expected Plum to ensure that the property we selected would live up to their advertising blurb, but no. The property had rising damp (in the kitchen!), defective kitchen fittings, was dirty and the 'private' veranda was completely overlooked by the neighbouring terrace. We discovered afterwards that the property was available on Airbnb for approximately half the amount we paid Plum - plus there were more accurate reviews we wished we'd read beforehand.

Oct 25,2024We booked this break several months before hand, we had several issues originally but they were quickly resolved. We spent 5 days at the Emerald Hideaway which we found very clean and tidy and well presented in a great location for our stay. If we had any complaints it was that the bed was so uncomfortable it was hard to get a good night's sleep and the bath could have been safer with a grab rail fitted.

Oct 24,2024A very comfortable place with a beautiful views of the Piazza del Popolo from inside the apartment and from the rooftop terrace. Centrally located and within walking distance to many Roman attractions. The host is always responsive and helpful. He helped to arranged our airport pickup and provided recommendations on local tours and nearby restaurants.

Oct 22,2024I have stayed in STR a million times. I had not ever stayed in a Plum Guide home before. It was a great experience from beginning to end. The reservation process was easy. The host was super communicative. The property was perfect in every way and exactly has depicted. In fact even better. I have also never had such detailed check in and check out instructions complete with photos. I would stay in this property and use Plum Gide again without hesitation.

Oct 20,2024Plum has a fantastic, detailed website with a huge variety of villas. The photos were exactly as the property depicted. The "peaceful" location of the house was not accurate since it was near a very busy road. Upon arrival, the villa had a different name to the one advertised which made it more difficult to find. However, the booking process was smooth and easy and I would use Plum again.

The owner met us and showed us everything around the apartment, reached out to see if we had any questions and helped us with taxi arrangements as we were leaving. She was great to work with. It was a wonderful apartment and we would stay here again definitely.

Oct 31,2024The hosts were very responsive, informative and addressed all of our questions in a timely fashion. Met us at the apartment and explained everything about the property and the surrounding area. The property was clean, well stocked with essential needs, great location, generally quiet (except for Sat night) and beautifully decorated. The view of the Vittorio Emmanuel Monument was spectacular. The bed was very comfortable. The bath amenities were lovely. The slippers and earplugs- a wonderful touch adding to a luxurious experience. Overall, great stay.
