Excellent customer service and brilliant easy to use booking platform. We had an issue with a booking when the vendor cancelled last minute but Plumguide were swift I. Funding us alternative locations and the gesture of a discount for the inconvenience. Been very impressed and would gladly recommend and use them again in the future.
We have used the Plum platform and services a number of times over the past few years and have always been very happy with the accommodation we have booked through them. The houses and apartments are always as described - and usually surprise on the upside - and the Plum people are helpful and responsive. Wholeheartedly recommend!
STAY AWAY FROM PLUM GUIDE. Plum Guide is not honest about the condition and circumstances of their properties. They take 50% of the full rental right away and offer NO CIRCUMSTANCES under which you can receive a return even if you cancel more than 6 months in advance or cancel right after booking. They continue to rent the property during your booking period and take rent from a subsequent guest without returning your deposit. So they get paid twice for the same property at the same time. It is THIEVERY AND ILLEGAL. they rely on their statements in online notices that you can’t negotiate or change and that they can draft to say literally anything they want. Then claim it’s a hard and fast contract. Absolutely and completely unreasonable, STAY Away.
Well, you can't write reviews on the unit itself, so I'll vent my frustrations here instead. The two things that they really drive home is that your unit is going to be quiet, and the water pressure is going to be great. They go so far out of their way to emphasize these points. Welp.... you might be able to guess where this review is headed. The water pressure in the shower was so insane, that it causes the bathroom to flood if you shower for more than a minute. There is bass thumping from the floors below me nonstop, can barely hold a thought its so loud, and these are concrete buildings that should block the sound. Speaking of water pressure, the water originally came out brown from the bathroom sink, perhaps rust, and was full of air bubbles, so piping hot, nearly boiling rusty water was splattering all over me, and caused some minor burns, nothing major but annoying, and laughable that my first experience was exactly the opposite of what they promise. Oh, what else... oh yeah the bass is still thumping, sorry its hard to keep a train of thought. There is some warning when you check in that you'll be fined up to 18,000 Euros (yes that is 18K, as in nearly $20,000 USD) for having any parties or loud music, and not to disturb the neighbors.... OK, so apparently that applies to tourists only. Besides that, the unit is dreadfully cold, I have to walk around with flip flops on because the floors are just a few degrees above freezing, the off-brand AC/heat pump with some kind of logo I've never seen or heard of before is set to a comfortable temperature that it is never able to reach, and so I'm left to freeze, with loud music thumping. Ok, so Airbnb sucks, but at least I'd be able to write a bad review for this insanely terrible and overpriced experience, I have no such option with Plum, so here we are.

I’m very happy with my Plum Guide experience. The home that we chose for our stay in York was absolutely beautiful, the decor was tasteful and all amenities were clean and tidy. It was so beautiful and I’m glad we chose this over a hotel. It was close to all nearby attractions some around a 10/15 minute walk away. Plum Guide was easy to use and the price point for what we booked was exceptionally good. Communication from Plum was also really good. I highly highly recommend
DO NOT use Plum Guide in Montreal, CA. All of their properties are managed by Sonder, which has a horrible reputation. Unfortunately, you won't find this out until AFTER you book your stay. And then you'll be matched with a Sonder representative who works on another continent and therefore won't be able to respond to your requests in a timely manner because duh, time zones. Why Plum Guide would even partner with such a terrible company is beyond me. Sonder has had record profit losses as of this year and is really only still afloat due to a deal it made with Marriott Bonvoy.
Lovely apartment, very nicely furnished. The experience was as seamless as I could imagine, with almost immediate support the two times we needed anything!
Notre séjour a été des plus agréables. L’appartement est situé à proximité de la gare de Paddington environ 5 minutes de marche, dans un quartier sécuritaire et tranquille avec services (restaurant, épicerie). Appartement bien équipé: cuisine, laveuse et sècheuse, beaucoup de rangement, 2 salles de bain complètes, lits confortables, bien éclairé et chauffé. Dimensions des pièces de standard européen comparativement à l’Amérique du nord. Notre hôte Megan facilement rejoignable, sensible à nos besoins et rapide pour y répondre. Les marches pour accéder à l’appartement situé au premier étage sont étroites donc non recommandé pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.
What can I say? I needed to update a booking after realizing I’d made a mistake, and wow—what an experience! In less than two seconds, I was connected to William—a real person, not an AI chatbot! He instantly had all the answers I needed, no fuss, no delays. It was simple, seamless, and super efficient. William was kind, quick, and on point. This is the gold standard of customer service—exactly what everyone should aim for! A standing ovation to the managers and HR team for recruiting such outstanding representatives. Remember, your customer service team isn’t just support—they’re your best salespeople! Bravo! And, please, give William a raise! Don't let this people go away.

Plum Guide provides a more curated experience for travelers seeking short- and long-term rentals in tourist destination cities such as London and Paris. I recently found a unique property in Paris at a very reasonable cost through their set of listings for the city. Their communications and customer support are excellent, though in my case not truly tested by any issue or problem. But I suppose that’s the point —- everything went smoothly. I highly recommend their service as an alternative to other companies offering vacation rentals in high demand locations.
Plum Guide picks a range of spots with a range of budgets and does an excellent job of neither over-selling nor under-selling them. They stand behind their product, have excellent and attentive customer service and you know you're going to get what you want before you even check in. I highly recommend.
For the second time I select one of Plum Guide properties for my winter holiday. The first experience was great and I expect this year to be just as good. Plum Guide meets my expectations and beyond.

I've used Plum Guide four times now, Paris and Rome. And I've already booked for next spring. The properties are really special - and the customer service is exceptional. I accidentally tripped a circuit breaker in one apt. (my fault) and they and the host could not have been more helpful. Great communication. Would not hesitate to recommend.
